About this property

Palm Beach Lodge - Totara

The beautiful home is located directly above Palm Beach and very close to the track to the beach - with 2 large north facing decks.
The zig-zag path winds down through the lush, sub-tropical garden to the road below and then the sandy beach.

Laundry facilities with washer, dryer.

All properties on Waiheke use a watertank to collect rainwater for water supply; please ensure that all your guests are aware to conserve water, especially in summer as the supply is not limitless.
Wastewater is collected in a septic tank; to keep this system operating properly ensure that all know not to flush any pads/nappies down the toilets and scrape food/fat off plates to keep the drains operational. Overtaxing the waste water system by using large amounts of water may cause malfunction, creating a health hazard as well as a very unpleasant smell!
If you can not travel to our property because of Covid Level lockdowns i.e. level 4 or 3, then we are happy for you to either transfer your booking dates to another time or get a full refund.

Stunning Views & Spacious!

We recently celebrated my mother's 70th Birthday on Waiheke Island and stayed here for 2 nights as a group. The apartment was very spacious and had magnificent sea views from every bedroom. A few things to note that would improve future guest stays as i would come back to stay here again. There were a few too many spider webs in the main lounge area. The outside sun umbrella could do with replacing as old and rusty. The shower pressure was minimal, but i had expected that on an island. Other than that, the owner answered questions promptly and even came to change over the gas bottle for the bbq for us. We would come back again.

Charm on Palm

We had an amazing time. The Totara apartment is in the perfect location - close to the beach but hidden away up the hill. Great layout and very spacious indoors and outdoors. We have already made a reservation for next year.

Amazing views

This property although a bit dated now is very spacious and has views to die for. Short walk down to the beautiful Palm beach. Very helpful and friendly property manager. Property is clean and perfect for a larger group. Couldn't ask for a better view or location.

Amazing house in an amazing location

Great few days spent at the house. Inside everything was as expected, nice and clean, plenty of room and furnishings, and the four bedrooms generous in size offering comfortable living. The outside deck areas were highlights though with a nice big outdoor table and a BBQ that got a lot of use as we soaked up the magical views over looking the Palm Beach. The track down to the beach area was also well trodden with swims in the beautiful water only minutes away. Thanks again for letting us stay.
