This spacious home is conveniently located in a quiet cul de sac just a short walk to the Lake, local shops and restaurant. The Umpires Retreat provides a perfect base to explore the region with Taupo town just 5km journey.
The lounge, kitchen and dining area are an open plan with a log fire for cosy winter stays. The lounge opens out via French doors onto a large covered courtyard with outdoor furniture and BBQ, perfect for those summer days and nights when you just want to kick back and relax.
The home has Three bedrooms offering various bedding configurations and two bathrooms.

There is a well-fenced lawn at the rear, enough room for the kids to play safely. The garage is available to store the bikes but not vehicles, you can park a boat or vehicle on the drive in front of the garage.
WiFi is available. It is not unlimited and is capped at 2GB per day. Please be considerate of your use and do not stream or download.
This is a modern Kiwi Bach as we know and love, it is a simple and affordable shared home with no frills, made for families to enjoy and make lasting memories of Great Lake Taupō. For this reason, there may be a level of personal belongings.
NOTE: Under Kiwi Bach tradition you are expected to: Bring your own linen (towels/sheets/tea towels) or use our hire service. If you wish to add the linen hire of $17.25 per person, please select this option when booking or let us know in the comments section.
This is a family home in a quiet residential area, not suitable for large groups of adults. An additional guest surcharge applies for more than 6 people.
When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.
We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.
You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It's your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.
