We are a retired professional couple with two adult daughters. After living in Christchurch for twenty three years we have recently moved to Hawkes Bay. We are now so lucky to be able to spend more time at Kinloch, however we also enjoy sharing our lovely home with others.
Kinloch is a special place where we all love to return to. Special memories are made here - hours in and on the lake doing an array of water sports, boating and fishing; walking, cycling, soaking in nearby thermal pools, day trips to the mountains or simply relaxing with family and friends.
We are grateful to have the support of a local lady who cleans the house between guests and friends and family who frequently check our house to ensure it is kept to the high standard we aspire to, to ensure our guests have a very special stay.

Why they chose this property

Kinloch has been our family holiday base since the early 1980's, travelling from Christchurch every year to enjoy summers with extended family in a bach owned by my late parents. Wanting to have our own permanent holiday base, we were very excited to become the proud owners of this unique house and maximize its potential. We have created a very comfortable, easy to maintain holiday home, which exudes a relaxed holiday ambiance every time we walk through the front door. As we cannot always be at "CedarView at Kinloch" we love the opportunity to share our piece of paradise with others.

What makes this property unique

A breathtaking view over the lake from the upstairs open plan living spaces and even the kitchen sink!
A super efficient wood burner for those who love the ambience of a fire. and a new heat pump installed in the downstairs hallway effectively warms the bedrooms.
Relaxed seating areas to enjoy upstairs or downstairs in a very sheltered paved garden.
Fully fenced / secure section where children can safely play.
Paved areas for off street parking
An easy 3-4 minute walk to the marina and lake edge.
Spaces to be together or to get away from others ......
