A great place to stay with extended family and mixed ages. The tennis court and direct access to wonderful Warrington beach make it very special. The house is comfortable and old fashioned- filled with memorabilia and a fascinating extensive book collection. We loved having fires in the chilly evenings and playing card games etc at the kitchen table. The kitchen facilities were adequate for all of us. Thank you for a great stay
We have stayed here before and really enjoyed it. The house is old but also welcoming and the garden is lovely. It’s also a stone’s throw to the beach which was absolute bliss. We can’t wait to stay again.

Had a lovely time. This is the first time that a place felt like an actual batch! Great for familys with access to the playground/beach down the back gate.
Clean and tidy property with privacy too.

Thanks for leaving the house so tidy, lovely to hear you enjoyed your stay. Come again.
The house is old and a little shabby, but it has great charm. It's position just up from the beach is ideal and the area is so peaceful and relaxing. The beach is beautiful and seeing sealions and seals was just the icing on the cake.
Really enjoyed our time here.Loved being so close to the beach, we had some wonderful walks with the dog. Appreciated the old world charm of the house, so much history, whilst still being warm and well equipped. The tennis court was fun . We had a good old fashioned family holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Thank you
We had a great stay in your gorgeous historic home. Thanks so much.
It all was pretty good. Close to a nice beach, playground. The tennis court was a huge bonus.
Next holiday place has to have all the same features, like a roomy house and all the things provided, bedding, utensils, basic food etc.. Otherwise we have to come back to your place!!!
We were down for a family wedding at the Warrington church. Absolutely loved the house, it was so big and homely, the tennis court was great for the kids and the location with the beach out the back gate was awesome. Our only regret was being too busy to really relax and enjoy being at the house. Five stars
Great for families. Private. Handy to beach & playground. Overall very good. Bigger beds would be a bonus.

Amazing home. So much history! So great to be able to bring our 4 legged friends
We love your home so much. Spacious and room for all the teenagers.
Bonus tennis courts and bowling green and 4-legged buddies welcome.
Beautiful historic gardens and home.
Amazing house.
Definately booking again!!
Spacious, comfortable cottage which had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. In need of some tlc. Extensive grounds but unfenced so a little tricky with a dog. Good communication with our hosts and overall an enjoyable stay.
An old historic home but with modern amenities - heat pump, dish washer, microwave and gas hot water that doesn’t run out.
Kitchen - HEAPS of pots, pans, plates, cups, cutlery, tea towels, paper towels etc ALL that you need.
Our group of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay and although the weather was inclement, we were cosy warm. We hope to return sometime in the future.
An almost 100 year old cottage with great charm. A bit shabby yet clean, is full of vintage pieces including a lovely old piano that still can crank out the tunes! Updated utilities and a well equipped kitchen, but could use some decent utility knives :o) The property itself is a bit rundown but is still lovely and is in a great location. Private and very close to the huge beach. Enjoyed our stay.

Thanks Laura, we do have a large painting job on the southern wall waiting for a break in guests to get done. The overgrown flower beds and bowling green are not ours and unfortunately the new owners are doing nothing to keep them lovely like they were in the past. Thanks for the heads up for utility knives its hard to keep track when you are not staying yourself for extended periods due to back to back bookings. Ill take some out for the next guests. Hope to host you again if you find yourselves back in the area in the future. PS thanks for the snacks.
It's a charming property. At first looks like it would be cold but it warms up remarkaly quickly. Open fire sets a lovely ambience and the heat pump/room heaters take care of the rest. The beach is pretty much out the back gate. Its fun to imagine the home this property used to be and the family/guests who stayed here. The garden is over grown but that adds to the character. Kids woukd love exploring this oroperty!
