Beautiful king size bed. Bedding and pillows wonderful. House was cold due to the weather so fire going all the time which warmed up the cottage. Plus heater in bedroom which kept it cozy.Sunshine through the lounge every day water just outside the door. Little balcony to sit and ponder looking at the cottage garden. Neil told me some of the history of the house plus information in booklet. Amazing history of this little cottage and the area.Loved the art work. Wine fresh made bread and milk in fridge. Richard and Neil are lovely hosts great communication. Quite even so close to the rd. Shops all close by.Great way to relax would highly recommend to others.

Peaceful, comfortable, homely, quirky. Great host very knowledgeable about the history and area. Lovely walks, local eateries. Mabel’s Cottage was a delight.
Mabel as described, cute and quirky due to her age that made us smile. The host excellent with comm"s and generous with supplies along with a couple of treats. Location was key to our plans with bonus of fishing right outside the door!.
