The flat is cozy and quiet, and stocked with amenities. The owners were friendly and communicative. And bring just outside Wellington gives easy access to many, many wonderful things!
We found our stay very enjoyable, clean and warm. Communication with the host was excellent. Disappointed with the tv reception as we are sports fans and wanted to see the Allblacks game.
The flat is in a great location and is decked out with everything you might need for a longer stay. The kitchen in particular was great with everything you need to avoid eating out and instead cooking nice home cooked meals.
The communication with the owners was also top-notch making sure I knew every thing I needed to know pre-arrival and checking I was happy once I arrived. I was very happy staying here and would so again.
We had the best stay at Trish's property. It was cosy and away from distractions and I had the best time with my daughter. Thank you so much Trish. I'll be back on our next visit to Wellington. Janey :))
We enjoyed this spacious, comfortable and well equipped flat under the owner's house, which felt like a "home away from home" when we stayed in Wellington for 5 days to help our daughter. The location was ideally situated for this and near to shops and transport. We also appreciated that parking was made available for us close by as there was very little in the street itself. Communication with Trish throughout the booking process made this much easier and we would recommend it as a relaxing and welcoming place to stay not too far from the central city
The husband was very helpful at the start. There is very little parking on the street, but the host arrange for a place for me to park when I arrived. The place is old and very damp throughout. I would not stay there again.
Cozy Apartment in a Great Location with Friendly Hosts
We rented the apartment in Wellington for 8 weeks and had an overall positive experience. The hosts were super friendly, always reachable, and very helpful, which made our stay much more enjoyable. The apartment looked exactly like the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. It’s conveniently located just 10 minutes by car from Wellington's city center.
Since we stayed during the winter, we had some challenges with heating, but this seems to be a common issue in New Zealand with older properties during the colder months. Additionally, we had to spend some time cleaning at the beginning of our stay, as the bathroom and especially the kitchen were not as clean as we had hoped.
Overall, the apartment is a great choice if you're looking for a nice place close to Wellington's center, and the friendly hosts make the stay especially pleasant.

This property looked better on the website than in real life.
This property looked better on the website than in real life. Access to the unit from the street was cumbersome, if not downright dangerous. Certainly not a place that would be suitable for elder people or physically challenged. The interior space was quite 'rustic' and 'rural' and not what I would expect in a country's capital city. The dampness and dankness reminded me of settings in Dostoyevsky's novel Poor Folk
No parking whatsoever in the street or property! Access to the property was struggling through overgrown roses bushes and a narrow path with steep concrete steps and no hand rail. The premises are a converted basement, cobwebs were very visible and there was a dried up cucumber left in the fridge. The bed looked as though someone had sat on it, quite saggy looking. We left the premises and booked in elsewhere and had a wonderful time in Wellington.
A coat pad with very good air conditioning and other perks

Great location.
Great location. Agree with comments re access especially in the wet and dark Wellington weather we encountered - better motion sensitive lights over front door would have been helpful. Despite being mid-winter the apartment was warm and served us well for our three night stay.
