Welcome to our homestay! We’re so pleased to share this special place with you. Whether you’re visiting for a family holiday, a peaceful retreat, or a change of scenery while working from home, we hope you feel comfortable and at ease here.
The house is filled with natural light, with large windows, exposed beams, and a cozy wood-burning fireplace to make your stay warm and inviting. With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, there’s plenty of space for everyone to relax. Enjoy the beautiful gardens or have a lovely meal under the vine-covered outdoor seating area—a favourite spot for quiet mornings and long chats over dinner.

Unfortunately the BBQ needed a thorough clean as did the kitchen. The dishwasher was mouldy and putrid. The beds were okay. The house would benefit from being fumigated as we found cockroaches and ants. Blinds fell off without being touched. We had to attach them to the window frame ourselves. The location was good but the exterior of the house was affected by termites. Consequently we were frightened to go on the verandahs upstairs. The house slept 8 bit there were only 8 plates. Two of which were chipped.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that parts of your stay fell short of what you were expecting.
Cleanliness and maintenance are very important to us, so we were disappointed to learn about the BBQ, kitchen, and dishwasher. These issues have been followed up with our cleaning team to ensure they’re properly addressed. The blinds have also been fixed, and we appreciate you letting us know.
The home is regularly treated for pests, but as it’s located in a coastal/bush area, insects can occasionally appear. That said, we’re organising an additional treatment to minimise this going forward. We understand how unsettling that can feel.
We also want to reassure guests that the property is routinely inspected and maintained. We take your concerns seriously and will be arranging further checks to ensure everything is in good order. Additional plates and kitchen items have now been added so the home is better set up for larger groups.
We do appreciate you mentioning the location, and we’re grateful for your feedback, it helps us improve the experience for future guests.
