Lexington Park Cottage

Located in the heart of Cambridge's beautiful equestrian region.

Suitable for a wide range of get-a-ways,2acres of landscaped gardens, a perfect location and a tranquil base for your stay in the Waikato.

The gardens are open for your use, with, tennis court (equipment available by request).

With so many great Waikato events hosted close by, we are please to accommodate those attending sporting or cultural events in the area and are please to offer plenty of off-street parking for your horse truck or boat

Located adjacent to the Te Awa Cycle track, a gentle ride connecting Leamington to Lake Karapiro.

Close to popular wedding venues, including Lake Karapiro we offer a beautiful, relaxed environment for pre-wedding preparations and photographs and a romantic location for the Wedding night.



The two self-contained cottages are available individually or for group booking.
Each cottage sleeps 4 with 1 Queen Bed and a single sofa bed in the bedroom and 1 Queen Sofa Bed in the living area.

Beautiful Cottage

We booked this accommodation for a staff member who was working at Karapiro for the week. She described it as a beautiful restful haven after a hot days work. The property managers were friendly and helpful.

Staying in Cherry was superb, it had the feel and touches of a hotel suite. A great welcome pack including all the essentials and a few extras (lovely biscuits!!!) It was great to have sky TV as well. The rooms are really well furnished and the cooking facilities were great. Peaceful location and definitely worth a stay

This is an outstanding property for anyone wanting a beautiful rural location, but close to Lake Kar

This is an outstanding property for anyone wanting a beautiful rural location, but close to Lake Karapiro and the Avantidrome. Appointed to a very high standard, it is nevertheless homely and a short drive to everything in Cambridge. We feel very fortunate to have stayed here.

The cottage was comfortable, well furnished and had plenty of character.

The cottage was comfortable, well furnished and had plenty of character. We made best use of the three separate living spaces, and found everything we needed in to cook a family meal in the kitchen. Our kids fell completely in live with the horses, particularly the adorable Cruise.

This is a fabulous place to stay!

This is a fabulous place to stay! We LOVED the peace and quiet and the horses and ponies were so lovely to see....to the point one of my daughters cried when we had to leave! The garden was very beautiful too and the cottage was really clean, tidy and well appointed with everything we needed to a high standard. The breakfast package was great and so convenient. The location could not have been better so close to Karapiro and Cambridge with the Te Awa cycle way on the doorstep. A great find!

Great location 5min for town. A very comfortable stay thank you. Beautiful rural outlook and magnificent gardens. Diana Buchanan took the time to show us around her beautifully landscaped gardens. It was a pleasure to stay there. Patrick and Leanne.

The most perfect location if visiting either Cambridge or Karapiro.

The most perfect location if visiting either Cambridge or Karapiro. Spectacular setting. The cottage exceeded expectations for location, setting, comfort etc.. It's just a pity we only stayed three nights. I highly recommend these cottages. Private and quiet, the perfect antidote if you're attending an event on the lake. The bath was very welcome after a day in and out of the rain.

Beautiful accommodation, very well maintained set in a stunning setting.

Beautiful accommodation, very well maintained set in a stunning setting. We loved being in the rural environment, next to paddocks with horses and near gardens that we could stroll through. Our 1 year old daughter loved it here, and they provided a port a cot, highchair and baby gate for our stay which was really helpful. Can highly recommend this place and we would love to stay here again.

Absolutely gorgeous cottages on the most beautiful property!

Absolutely gorgeous cottages on the most beautiful property! I fell in love with the place, and the kids loved it too! The little kids play area and animals made it extra fun for the young ones. The cottages were immaculate and contained everything you could possibly need for a great stay. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating and made sure our every need was met. I would most definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others A+++.
