Only 5 minutes from Onerahi shopping center, 15 minutes from Whangarei Town Basin. 8 minutes from Parua Bay Tavern and Restaurant and 7 minutes to Parua Bay boat ramp. With a Golf course near by, guests have a range of activities close by. For those who want a challenge walk the Mt Mania track and the several bush walks nearby. A range of white sand beaches maximum 35 minutes drive. Watch the sun set at night and sunrise in the morning.

This was a very comfortable place to stay. It was clean and inviting. The host was kind and gave us very clear instructions on how to find her home. The bed was comfy and we had a good nights rest after a day of flying and driving. The best part was waking up to the water lapping at the shore, metres from where we awoke. Highly recommend this stay.

Unit was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was friendly and discreet.The location and the view were perfect. We watched the tide roll in and out and enjoyed the abundant birdlife and the many boats including a ship leaving Northport. Wish we coud have stayed longer.

The property was better than expected from photos, very tidy and loved the little extras in bathroom and kitchen. Very ckmfortable studio with great outlook. Instructions were clear and easily to follow to "check in" and the host was friendly in the brief conversation had not long after arrival. Thank you for a nice easy night away from home!

I was born in the North and Theo in Holland. We both have adult children and 8 grandchildren between us. We both love the sea and never tire of the ever changing scene from our property. There is nothing nicer then coming home from a hard days work and sitting looking out at our changing view.

Why they chose this property

We were very lucky when we decided that we wanted to buy a house together. We had always wanted to live on the Whangarei Harbour but be close to work and Whangarei Township and we found our home.

What makes this property unique

A stones throw from the waters edge and yet close to all necessary amenities. Ample parking. Easy access and close to town. A good selection of bird life to watch.
