The perfect getaway. A lovely refurbished bach in a stunning location. The hosts made everything super easy and enjoyable - from regular comms and instructions to a range of entertainment and amenities. Highly recommended - wish we could have stayed longer but we'll be back soon!
The Green House was everything and more that my family and I could want of a rental house with close proximity to the beach, sensational views, and relaxing comfort. We were all very, very pleased with the decor, the ease of access, and sleeping arrangements to cater for our large family group. We will be back for sure.

Thanks for choosing to stay in Whakapirau! Would be happy to accommodate you and the family again. Stay in touch
Very homely bach with wonderful views. The kitchen was well equipped and the fire made the place cosy as it was a chilly weekend. Dity is a wonderful host and extremely accommodating. We're already talking about booking another weekend.
Lovely peaceful house with a beautiful outlook - this location and house are both perfect for a young family. Very cosy and warm.
Only suggestion is that, considering the price, it would be great if towels and sheets were provided and a few more kitchen necessities for cooking.
We will definitely be back though and the host was so lovely and helpful to deal with. Recommended :)
Can’t wait to try the place in summer!!

Kia Ora, Thank you for your honest review :)
I have contemplated supplying sheets & towels - but the cleaning cost will increase significantly. I have had feedback from previous guests that they're happy to save on the cleaning bill in turn for BYO linen.
As regards the kitchen necessities, I'm sorry you didn't feel like you had the sufficient supplies - I do my best at supplying the basics, like Stovetop/Oven, Microwave, Espresso Machine, Kettle, Tea, Coffees, Sugar, Spices, Oils, Utensils, Glassware, Crockery, Pots & Pans.

Old bach
We felt that the bedding didn’t feel very clean and the shower old . Felt it was expensive when we had to provide our own linen.

Hello Jane, We're sorry the property did not meet your expectations.
We've never tried to elude to our guests that our Bach is brand-new or modern. It is a well loved home, not a hotel.
That said, we are on the process of updating our bedding. So thank you for the reminder.
We are also slowly saving up to renovate the bathroom :)
As for the price, we're confident it reflects the number of guests we can host, the location(view) and relaxing experience.
All the staying requirements are stated in our listing.
We hope you enjoyed your stay and created some fond memories at the wedding.
We enjoyed the property which suited our babies to our seniors with close access to the beach and the wharf close by for sprat fishing. Great orientation to the view from lounge to kitchen and generous deck. Lovely flat lawn for tent if needed.
Great place far from the city noises. Has all the things we needed ti stay overnight and more.
Will definitely book again the next time i go around the area
From beginning to end it was hands down the best experience ...... from the first instance checking in the owner was welcoming and generous....... the property itself was everything we had hoped for and so much more... ... not just the vibe ( which was amazing ) but all the tiny touches that make a Bach a home away ( even for just a little while ) ...... the wairua ( spirit ) of whakapirau is one of peace and Aroha .... there are hidden gems waiting to be discovered....... from the poem painted on the side of the water tank down at the boat club by renowned poet Sam hunt .... to the sharing of freshly caught snapper down on the beach with locals to the glorious views that are 360 deg 24/7 ...... to the board games on offer , the comfortable sleeping arrangements and the feeling of being refreshed and revived ....... as the mokopuna said as he kissed the door goodbye...... we love you green house ❤️✌️👌
