Beachaven - REAR Cottage at Ligar Bay with Free Kayaks and unlimited Wifi.

This listing is for the REAR Cottage. We have two cottages with two bedrooms and one bathroom each. The photos and booking calendar on this listing are for the slightly elevated, more private and sheltered REAR cottage. For the other cottage please refer to listing #20019167.

We provide free unlimited Wifi and four kayaks for our guests to share between the cottages.
Our kayaks are stable and suitable for all year round use without even getting wet! Paddle the beautifully clear water around the stunning coastline to Tata Beach where there are often seals, Tarakohe Harbour or the sheltered Ligar Bay lagoon.

The property is just across the road to the Golden Sand beach of Ligar Bay.

The Cottage is fully self contained with:
- New kitchen with dishwasher.
- Full conventional oven and microwave.
- Freeview TV, DVD, HDMI cord, Fridge/freezer and washing machine.
- Heatpump for quick efficient winter heating.
- A small bathroom and separate toilet room.
- The Cottages are separated by a carport and lawn area. The Cottages are not attached and are private from each other.
- Carport and extra parking space for two cars on the driveway of the rear cottage. Suitable for small boats only.
- Picnic table and extra chairs for grassed area.
- Mobile phone reception and Free WiFi.

The cottage is a comfortable, functional New Zealand holiday home. It's not a grand house but it is clean, warm, cozy, it is fully equipt, has comfortable beds and is located in a stunning environment

Special conditions:
- Smoking outside only and dispose of your butts please.
- No pets or parties.
- No tents, caravans or campervans outside the Cottages at any time.

Under New Zealand Holiday Home tradition on departure you are expected to: clean and tidy the house, do the dishes and remove your rubbish. Instructions will be given for this but it can generally be dropped at the Recovery Centre which is on your departure route. There is no charge if you use the bag provided.

CLEANING AND LINEN ARE NOT INCLUDED but can be arranged as optional extras.
LINEN CHARGE IS $50 for the Queensize bed or King width bed and $25 for a Single.

CLEANING CHARGE IS $95. If you prefer not to fully clean the cottage or think you will be short of time prior to your 10am departure we can arrange it for you, but you do still need to remove your rubbish, glass and bottles.
The Service Fee listed with the payment details is the website commission. It is not for cleaning or linen at the Cottage.

Duvets, extra blankets and pillows are provided. You need to bring your toiletries and all food for personal use. Minimal supplies such as toilet paper, soap and shampoo are provided to get you started.

15 minutes drive to the Northern Boundary of the Abel Tasman National Park for great walks, Mountain Bike Tracks or for the supermarket and shopping in Takaka.
5 minutes drive to Pohara for cafe's, general store and the golf course.

We have an extensive information folders in the cottage describing areas of interest in Golden Bay. Many of our guests have commented on how useful these are.

Golden Bay is unique for arts, crafts, cafe's museums, beautiful scenery, walking tracks and beaches. Take time out to relax, sit back and enjoy the stunning sunsets.

So many lovely places to visit. Wainui Falls, Taupo Point, Waikoropupu Springs, Anatoki Salmon Farm, Rawhiti Caves, Abel Tasman National Park, Totaranui Beach, Awaroa, Farewell Spit, Wharareki Beach, walks, bike rides, arts and crafts.
