The cabin sits just a few miles from the town of New Castle, set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. With around 3000+/- feet of Creek Frontage on Craig Creek, the cool waters allow for perfect recreation and relaxation. A large deck overlooks the creek and has a nearby large firepit for fun at night. High Speed internet with 50mb speeds for those that still need to be connected. Everything was as we expected with the cabin. We had everything we needed to make a successful trip. Did lots of hiking this trip and plan to return in the summer months to take advantage of the water. Town has a grocery store up the street and we stopped everyday for dinner supplies and enjoyed the cabin grounds.

We really enjoyed our stay. The creek access was very fun, firepit was fully stocked, beds were comfy, and our hosts really went out of their way to help us when our car broke down on the trip. You will be in good hands!

We had a great stay in New Castle. The house is located right of the main road but, it still felt private and secluded. The amenities outside really made this location. Great areas to relax and enjoy nature. There is an adorable coffee shop in town that serves breakfast and lunch. Roanoke is a 40 minute drive from town. I traveled with my elderly father so, we did not hike any of Jefferson National Forests. We are hoping to travel back in when it’s warmer to the joy the property and area more.

My wife and I booked this Vrbo for a long weekend getaway. It's close to some really fun hikes, and the cabin itself is great! We used the grill to cook one night and that worked great as well.

A nice vacation retreat

Lovely cabin with well kept grounds. Nicely laid out for entertaining and relaxing. Close to town. We enjoyed going in to get pastries from the Lemon and Vale Cakery.
