About this property

Relaxing and practical

This sunny crib was built in the 1980s and is situated in the peaceful haven of Kelvin Heights, approx. 10 minutes drive from Frankton. There is two large double bedrooms on separate levels, with two single bedrooms upstairs. There are bathrooms on both levels. There is two living areas downstairs, one open plan with the Gallery kitchen. The house boasts views across to Queenstown and Ben Lomond, Cecil Peak and the Remarkables. Jardine Park at the rear of the property is a lovely reserve with a playground and croquet club. It is also the starting point for two walking tracks, one to Jacks Point, the other around the Kelvin Peninsula. This crib is a super spot for a family holiday or a quiet break away. The base of the Remarkables Ski Area is a short drive away, making this an ideal makeshift ski lodge.

3. Rooms that have been used need to be vacuumed (cleaner in downstairs cupboard ) 4. Electric blankets to be unplugged at wall 5. Bathroom towel rails and underfloor heating to be turned off
6. Windows to be closed and house secured (check doors locked) 7. Key to be placed back in security box.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great place for 6 adults to retreat to at the end of a busy day. Very spacious and warm with all the comforts you would expect of home. The two bathrooms and lounges are great for groups. Coming in to stay in the Winter meant we didn’t use the outside, but I can see how the front veranda that looks out to Queenstown would be amazing in those warm months.

Perfect spot.

This was a super comfy, warm well located house in a quiet street with lovely views across to Queenstown centre. It has everything you need and is just a few minutes drive from the Remarkables shopping centre for a supermarket (and a very good French bakery. Highly recommend!

It's a lovely country style house with all the essentials needed. Spacious for 6 people, nice view from the house and a few walking paths through the big park next to the house. Host is very responsive and made some adjustment for us. Would love to come back next time we are in Queenstown.

We absolutely loved this beautiful house, yes it's an older style house and there was no wifi which didnt bother us at all but it was such a great place to stay and we would definitely love to come back again. Would highly recommend.

Home from home….

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. This really is a home from home. Absolutely everything you could possibly need is provided, not only the ‘hardware’ but the ‘software’ too, in abundance. A fully stocked pantry, washing and cleaning materials, personal care products, hairdryer, games for kids and adults, books, tv’s, fabulous outdoor areas, sun room…..I couldn’t possibly list everything that is provided. I can’t recommend highly enough and we will definitely book here again. Thank you J and J for a fabulous holiday x

The location was very good, a short ride into Queenstown. No wifi. The home was not as clean as it could have been and needs updating. Downstairs bath especially. The single bed bedrooms are tiny and one had a baby crib so no place for luggage. I would not recommend it.

Could do with redecorating, very dated. Check to make sure appliances cleaned between stays. Maybe include cleaning fee in rate so visitors are not expected to clean as people have very different standards. Was a very warm house. Good location to Queenstown. Enjoyed our stay.

New Zealand adventure

We enjoyed our stay at this home. It is in a quiet neighborhood tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to get what you need. The house is humble and dated, but sufficient for us. It has wonderful views!

A warm space for a family

The house is suitable for a big family with two living areas. Kids explored every corners and entertainment. My kids love the piano that they can play for fun.

Even though the property is old it was warm and dry. there was lots of space for everyone as well as a good outside area for sitting around in the sun the only problems was radio and TV not working
