The Rose Cottage offers a semi self contained kitchenette. Breakfast is a option, just request when booking.
A great place to stay while exploring the many awesome sites and activities that Taranaki has to offer such as the very popular Taranaki Garden Spectacular Show, WOMAD held in March, going back in time while visiting the famous Tawhiti Museum. Surf Highway 45 for following the stunning Taranaki coastline. Great to come and stay while visiting family and friends or just to have a get-away from everything!

Gloria is a legend and her place is leafy and cute and we had a wonderful evening there. We recommend to go for a walk and meet the deer in the tennis court and find the short forest art walk.

Never received arrival instructions, lucky we had the address from the confirmation email. Sent message on day of arrival to request instructions, still haven’t received a response to this date … communication was zero. Had trouble finding property and thankfully despite no instructions or communication we found the property and it was open and ready. It was not was we expected at all. So small, dated, tired and very cold. Turned heater on and it rattled and was so noisy we had to turn fan off.The bathroom had so much hair in it, there was hair all over the walls. Like someone like the walls with a cloth covered in hair, it was gross.We had no wifi as we never received instructions. TV has really bad reception, so we gave up and just went to sleep.Lucky we were busy attending to meetings and a Dinner event that we only stayed there to sleep and change.So disappointed as reviews were great, I questioned if it was even the same property as it was a very bad experience and over priced. Lucky it was just one night. Couldn’t wait to get out in the morning.
