MM Studio 1 - Great Value for Stunning Beach

Both studios have large spacious living/sleeping areas, with a modern kitchen off to the side. Dining is out on the shared covered verandah, looking out to the properties beach and your first choice for swimming and snorkeling…30 seconds away! Transportation around the island is conveniently located close by with a bus stop, and buses that generally run every hour around the island. Alternately a 15 minute sunset stroll along the beach will lead you to the “Vaima” restaurant replete with an excellent bar and menu. Coming back along the road will take you past Wigmores superstore for essential household shopping and further along the Yellow Hibiscus Restaurant. Walking the other way will bring you to the Saltwater Cafe (excellent coffee), more great snorkeling and the Queens Representative Home.

The Vaimaanga district is also famous for “Papua” (Wigmores Waterfall) and the cross island walk, a four hour trek that takes you through the tropical interior of the island to “The Needle” a large rock outcrop that reveals spectacular mountain views of Rarotonga, from the mountains to the sea! People generally start this trek inland from the township of Avarua ending up in Vaima at the waterfall.

MandM Studios would be ideal for two couples planning a getaway together but not necessarily wanting to stay in the same house together, its shared verandah being perfect for socialising.
