Stunning beach house

Captains View is an amazing opportunity to experience a stunning holiday home, within minutes of walking distance to the many Bays of the area and the backyard to the Able Tasman National Park.
Situated across the road to one of the entrances to the fabulous mountain bike park, and with several entertainment areas around the home, you will find the perfect spot to sit and relax after a ride or a day at the beach.

BBQ will be provided along with all outdoor furniture.
No smoking allowed in the property.
Outdoor Pizza oven and fire place available. Cedar Hot tub has recently been added to the property situated in a private deck area.

Stayed as a group of 6, total comfort and enjoyed by all. Beautiful property which allowed areas of peace and relaxation away from group if wanted. Everything thought out down to games and beach towels. Would definitely book again if our destination was this area.

Christmas with a view

Amazing location for a families to reunite for Christmas. Kitchen with everything needed and great quality. Short walk down to beach and around to Kaiteriteri. A perfect space for teens and adults to relax and enjoy. Big thanks to the owner and management!

Utter Bliss

Absolute comfort enjoyed at this property. Every need is catered for and there are views to die for. Parents loved the space and ease of living and kids loved the outdoor shower and proximity to the beach. Fantastic comms from Anne the Property Manager and if we can, we will be back! A beautiful property in the most magical place in the world.

Awesome Stay

Amazing property and hosts. Great location and lovely property. Everything went well from initial contacts, clear instructions & communication. Hosts were very friendly and unobtrusive. Property was lovely, clean and very well appointed. Easy access to beach and Motueka for supplies / Cafes / other interests. Lots to do. Will definitely be booking again - thoroughly recommended. Fabulous home in kaiteriteri

What an amazing stay. The most beautiful home in a stunning setting. All modcons and every convenience you would ever need. We stayed for four days but could have stayed for a month, very sad to leave. A few minutes walk to the beach which was accessible for everyone down a well landscaped stair way. Plenty of break off rooms and spaces for an adult family.

Excellent spot for an excellent holiday

Kaiteriteri is a great base to explore the beautiful Nelson/Abel Tasman/Golden Bay region. The house itself is super. It has a great layout, with plenty of space and spectacular views. It also has everything you need in the way of home comforts for an enjoyable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and good entertainment systems. On the days you are not out sightseeing, there is an easy walking track from the house which takes you to Little Kaiteriteri beach. From there you can walk along to the local cafes at the main beach and just a little bit further to Breaker Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and hope to return soon.

A Cut Above the Rest

The photos do not do this place justice. A really lovely home with quality furnishings and everything you need including separate areas to hang out in both internally and externally. Great location. Loved our stay and can't speak highly enough of this beautiful property.

What an amazing spot - highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in this AMAZING house! Fantastic facilities, great location, stunning views, warm and cozy - highly recommend! It was a shame the weather was so terrible that we didn't get a chance to utilise the amazing outdoor areas and take in the view -but we were lovely and warm next to the gas fire! We would love to come back over summer and make the most of it! Thanks for the easy communication and providing everything we needed!

Paradise in the South Island

As regular Bachcare uses this is one of the nicest we have stayed in. It had everything we needed inside and out. The owner and manager really have gone out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is simply one of the best we have enjoyed. A short walk to the beach. Kayak’s (supplied by the owner) crystal clear water and the natural beauty of the Abel Tasman National park at your door step. You can relax or be active, it’s all there. We will be coming back but for much longer next time. It really is a spectacular part of the country with accommodation to match. Thanks for letting us stay.

Fabulous house

We loved staying at Captains view. We particularly loved the design of the house with many areas to chill and relax. Whether it be the on the deck with the beautiful harbour view, or out the back of the property next the pizza oven which we got good use of. Love to return.

Gorgeous Home in Just the Right Spot

Wonderful place with room to relax. VERY clean and well equipped. We were minutes away from restaurants and access to Abel Tasman National Park. But - we could have just sat on the porch and enjoyed the view all day.

Beautiful accommodation and great location

We had the most wonderful fortnight staying in this stunning house. The views are amazing and the property has everything you could with for and more. Lots of different spaces to suit everyone staying and a lovely layout and relaxed beach feel. while a beautiful home it also has a lovely warm, cosy friendly feel. An outdoor shower to rinse off from the beach, separate wine fridge and 2 living areas with tvs were some of the practical elements that really made a difference to our stay. The bathrooms and fittings are stunning and the property is exceptionally clean and cared for. Nothing was a problem when we communicated and Michael and property manager Anne made our stay just perfect. The location is fantastic and just a short stroll down to Kaiteriteri Beach. We would love to come back and stay again. We had older family members staying with us who had their own bedroom and ensuite and fell in love with the house too. Also, house was even more lovely in person than in the photos. A rare thing when travelling! Thank you for a memorable holiday experience.
