Super cute, clean and comfortable place for up to two people! My partner and I could recommend this place more if you are looking for somewhere really close to city, 2-5 minute walk for any restaurant or shops. Parking is also a major bonus! 10/10 will be rebooking.
Great location, close to town and walking tracks. Took me a few minutes to workout the bath entrance is from street near carpark as taxi dropped me at backpackers next door & Google maps wasn't much help, but once I looked up I was sorted.
Had all I needed small dwelling nice and quiet, lovely stay thankyou
Super-handy to the Napier seashore, CBD and highlights like the MTG Art Gallery. Yes, it's small but has everything a couple needs for a few nights, especially including parking.
I had booked this for my Dad to stay in for his trip to Napier while he was visiting from the UK.
He thought that it was an excellent location as it was near to Marine Parade so he could have a good walk.
Would recommend it to others
This small Bach is in a wonderful location. You are central to everything Napier offers. An early walk on Marine Parade to start your day and a delicious meal at Vinci's to end it all within walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and although compact it had everything we needed.
Cozy cottage with basic necessities in a great location. The access to the property is a bit of a challenge with a very rocky, steep and uneven path to the door. The cottage is very small and would be a tight fit for two people with luggage.Warm and comfortable and within easy walking distance of the city centre.
Not a good place for someone disabled or elderly I am a fit 75 year old but my son has a leg injury and is only 56 and he struggled otherwise nice setting opposite lovely cathedral .
This cleverly contrived little pad has an an inner city character that would appeal to those who want to stay in walking distance of the main street and the waterfront. An unexpected short cathedral bells concert one evening was a bonus. We liked the simplicity of having all the rented amenities close at hand. Intermittent faults of the iron and fridge were a bit of an inconvenience at the time and we reported these to the owner, who was responsive. Overall a happy experience and we may well try to return some time.
A very nice Bach located in an excellent situation
We had a very pleasant stay. The “Bach” was perfect, very clean and very well outfitted. We were happy that we had chosen this property.
The only small criticism we would have is perhaps the web site should note that access to the “Bach” may not be suitable for elderly or those with mobility issues. We are in our eighties and fit but found the access slightly difficult. Had it rained we would have had a problem.
not be suitable for people with
Fantastic communication with the owner and I'd recommend this cute little bach. Perfect for 1-2 people and it had everything I needed for a short stay in Napier with a great city location where you can easily walk to everything if needed. There is a bit of an incline to get to the bach but if this isn't a problem then there's no problem. Thanks for the stay.
This is a cute wee studio room, that is unique. The room had what we needed and space to dress and enjoy a quiet pre-bed drink. It was clean and totally sufficient for our needs
Slight mix up in which property I had booked but was sorted promptly and communication was almost instant with replies and super helpful host. Loved the little bach I stayed in, very clean and tidy and amenities, wifi, cooking equipment etc supplied as well as extra bedding, towels and pillows. Great views on the balcony and good outdoor seating to enjoy the views and weather. BBQ supplied (didn’t use) but it’s an option for those who stay here. Tv works well and you can plug in Apple box or chrome cast if you bring it with HDMI cable. I just used the freeview channels. Heater and Fan supplied too. Water pressure not that strong but it’s enough to shower and wash hair fine. Loved the time I spent here (4 nights) and location perfect for walks into town and to waterfront, ocean spas, museum, and movies and a longer walk to aquarium.
Highly recommend this accomodation, priced okay, but I did think I was upstairs in the flat instead of the Bach so thought I had a great deal for the price if that was so. But after moving downstairs into the Bach I did feel like I might have paid a little too much for the size etc. It comes with a free carpark, which is great as everywhere else you have to pay for a park in town. Once again loved the stay, location and would recommend to others. Just be aware of which part of the house you are booking for the price difference, as I didn’t know.
Excellent location, small but well set up, tidy and excellent communication with owner who was very obliging. Deck and BBQ is an essential bonus given the place is of course quite small - but just what I needed. Mark
This place is tiny but completely adequate. It’s big drawcard is it’s location which is fabulous. It has car parking as well. Would definitely stay here again.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
We loved the location, so handy to the city, restaurants and also marine parade which we biked along both ways. Wonderful and safe. The city Bach is very reasonably priced and is very well equipped and clean and trendy. Quaint and cute. Reminded us of some of the places we stayed at Europe.
