Very very welcoming- lovely fresh fruit and jam - quirky accommodation but the high ceilinged wooden cabin soon cooled during the night so a comfortable sleep. Good basic kitchen bathroom and you get a really warm welcome- Di and Matthew make sure you have everything you need - many thanks 😊
The room has two single beds which is all we needed, in a beautiful 103 yo building. Bathroom and kitchen are in a caravan right outside. Facilities can be considered cosy and compact. Host was lovely telling us about the property and surrounding areas
Just the best authentic spot and the greatest hosts imaginable. Hope to be back for a longer stay before too long. Many thanks Di and Matthew.

Loved the location and the very friendly and helpful hosts. We were even helped to pick a wheelbarrow full of fresh apples from the adjoining orchard, free of any charge!! Will definitely be staying here again.
We came in late, but were still greeted by the lovely Di and Mathew. The whare is a piece of history. We had a great sleep,as we had to leave early and in daylight we could see the beautiful garden, pond, and berry orchards. We would love to stay again.
Host Di was super easy to deal with and very welcoming. The Whare (bedroom) was very clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room for suitcases etc.
The Caravan (kitchen in one room, the bathroom/toilet in the other) had everything that was required in the way of supplies etc.
Overall, a very nice, peaceful place to stay.

I loved how the accommodation was truly unique and the location was very tranquil
Though I was told about the shower and toilet in a caravan nearby I did not enjoy this arrangement. I m in my late 60s and in the future I would always look for ensuite bathroon facilities.
The small house (sleeping room) and caravan (kitchen and bathroom) was well equipped for our stay. A great place to relax and enjoy. Visiting grandchildren loved it too.

For older people the toilet are too far away at night shower too small.
Loved our stay at Longlands- Te Whare was charming as also our very generous and friendly hosts. Low light pollution meant we had a magnificent view of the stars.
Certainly an interesting place. It suited me fine as I was out early and back late every day. However if you want to laze there is plenty of space outside to do so. I enjoyed being there , Very welcoming, warm couple. I loved the jam which I brought home and am devouring now. Where else do you get a bottle of jam waiting for you?
