Luxurious Eco home with stunning lake views in Penrith Park

A luxurious warm family home with incredible mountain and lake views awaits your next holiday.

The house is powered with renewable energy using solar panels and a Tesla battery, making use of the sun as an energy source as much as possible.

There are 2 living areas, 4 bedrooms (two with ensuite's), separate bathroom, guest toilet and large laundry room. Outdoor fun with a large heated swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Perfect for a large family or two families together.

The house is a family home, well equipped with all the facilities and kitchen equipment that you will need as well as a Nespresso machine for the morning coffee! On arrival you will find your welcome pack with a bottle of from one of Central Otago's most prestigious vineyard Felton Road.

There is a large open plan contemporary kitchen with Knoll dining furniture and a large wood burner in the main living area and a heat pump providing heat or cool air as needed. There is second heat/cool air pump outside the downstairs bedrooms and ducted heating or cooling upstairs keep the whole house warm or cool.

The upstairs Movie room has a large smart TV and if you don't want to use the streaming channels there are thousands of movies to choose from the DVD collection, catering for the whole family.

A large garden with 11m heated swimming pool (heated between November to April), sauna, a big spa pool suitable for 6 to 8 people and a comfortable seating area to relax and enjoy the view. If you want to escape to a quieter outdoor space the upstairs deck area with expansive views over the lake is the place to go.

There is wireless internet, surround sound in the main living area with speakers inside and outside.

The master bedroom has a super king bed, 2 x queen beds and a double bed. All beds are made with up quality linen and luxury towels are provided. The beds also have electric blankets and warm feather duvets.

Table Tennis table for indoor fun is in the garage.

There is a cleaner available at extra cost if required during your stay.

Paradise Found

After 8 weeks here the owners nearly had to kick us out! The home was perfect for a family of 5, each with their own room, and with a very eclectic DVD/Theater room. We loved the layout of the home, all appliances and furnishings modern and comfortable. We also throughly enjoyed getting to know the owners and was very impressed with their communication and attention. Even little details became necessities like the outdoor SPA, large yard, BBQ, outdoor seating, gorgeous lake and mtn views, spacious garage and wood burning fireplace. The location was excellent for our family as it was quiet, and close to great hiking, biking and trail running but convenient and close to town for quick trips to the grocery store, restaurants, etc, and all the great ski fields. The only addition we’d like to see to the home is the Crocodile Dundee DVD that the owner ‘guaranteed’ he had . . . Still looking for it mate . . .

Stunning property with excellent facilities and awesome mountain views.

Great location with unobstructed views of the mountains and easy access to ski fields and Wanaka. Had 2 weeks with our family who ranged from 15 to 83 years old. Very comfortable accommodation with open fire and spectacular views from the kitchen. Outside spa which was regularly tended. Can't fault the property or Jay who couldn't have done more to make our stay more hospitable.

A great place for our family to stay, well-appointed house with spectacular views.

Ultimate relaxation in an amazing location. Jay welcomed us on our arrival and showed us the house, which is a lovely and modern 4 bedroom house. The house felt truly like a home away from home. Spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains that could be seen from around the house; there was no rush to finish your breakfast with those views. A massive DVD library made every night a movie night for the family, and a great fibre internet connection kept the kids' devices happy. With a great new kitchen, and a BBQ outside we never felt the need to head out for dinner. We were very happy with our stay and thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay.

Fabulous home, wonderful host!

Our family of five had a perfect three week stay while skiing at Treblecone. The house was spotless, comfortable, functional and very cozy. The views are stunning and always changing with the Wanaka weather. Location is very convenient to town (short drive) and the views from Beacon Point are even more stunning than those in town. We truly enjoyed getting to know our hosts, who were warm & welcoming, and always went the extra mile to ensure we were happy and comfortable. We'll be back!

Well presented, clean, modern home. Everything you need at your fingertips, amazing views from nearly every room which makes it very easy to just stay and hangout! The layout of the home works well for all occasions. Jay and Nikki are fantastic hosts and nothing was a problem and great explanation on how the house works. We didn’t want to leave! Brilliant house!

Don’t hesitate, just book this beautiful home! The house was even better than the pictures, we can’t rate it highly enough. Jay and Nikki were extremely helpful from the minute we booked til we left, nothing seemed too much trouble. We needed a place to stay for our family Cardrona/TC ski trip and this was the perfect choice - only five or so mins drive from Wanaka town centre meant we had peace and quiet when we wanted but easy access to restaurants and shops at other times. We loved the location, the super warm outdoor spa, the very safe and very cosy fireplace and downstairs family room, the elegant kitchen equipped with everything you could possibly want, the floor to ceiling glass sliding doors opening to the incredible Wanaka lake and mountain vista, the spacious bedrooms, modern and large bathrooms, fully stocked laundry, heating and the two separate living rooms, which meant our children and us could have time to ourselves! Our children (4 and 10) especially loved the ping pong table in the garage and the extensive games and DVD collection. Also, my husband was able to work easily from here as and when he needed due to the highly reliable included wifi! For info, Penrith Park clearly is one of the nicest suburbs in Wanaka with big blocks and beautiful homes tastefully built in keeping with the landscape, so this adds to the gentle ambience of the home itself. According to my husband’s watch, this house is only a 22 min drive to the base of Cardrona and just a bit less to Treble Cone. In short, we loved our stay, the home and the owners and highly recommend a stay or two here!!
