Summary:
Set quietly above Putiki Bay, Fairview Apartments brings together two modern one-bedroom spaces joined as one, simple, relaxed, and easy.
The Space:
Set quietly on the hillside above Putiki Bay, Fairview Apartments gives you two newly built one-bedroom spaces joined together for comfort and ease. The apartments connect through an internal door, so you can spread out or close it off for privacy when you need it.
Each apartment is self-contained, featuring a kitchenette, full bathroom, and comfortable lounge area. The interiors are modern and uncluttered, with Smart TVs, premium linens, and everything you need for a relaxed stay. When booked together, the apartments are joined by an internal connecting door, creating one larger space that accommodates up to four guests while maintaining a sense of privacy.
The setting is calm and elevated, reached by a long gravel driveway leading down from the main road. From here, you’re close to the island’s vineyards, beaches, and walking trails, yet tucked away enough to feel quietly removed.

The Neighborhood:
Your day at Fairview Apartments by Stay Waiheke starts the way it should, coffee in hand and the island already moving at its own pace. You’re close to everything here, with cafés, shops, and vineyards all within easy reach.
Grab a coffee from The Island Grocer, just a short walk away, or stop by AkiTō Deli for something fresh from the counter. For lunch, head to Arcadia Café in Palm Beach with its good food, an easy crowd, and sea air drifting through the doors. Dinner’s best at Fenice in Oneroa Village, or try The Oyster Inn for something a little more refined with a view of the water.
Oneroa Village is where you’ll find boutique shops and galleries worth a wander. The Tailor and His Lover for designer pieces, Body & Soul for island wear, and Timmy Smith for jewellery and gifts. If you’re stocking up for the evening, The Island Grocer has local produce, cheese, and Waiheke wine to take home.
A short drive takes you to Mudbrick, Cable Bay, and Tantalus Estate, all offering wine tastings and long lunches among the vines. And for something a little more relaxed, The Heke Kitchen, Brewery & Distillery is a favourite, casual plates, craft beer, and a live DJ on Friday afternoons through summer.
Getting Around:
Getting around from Fairview Apartments is simple. The nearest bus stop is just a minute’s walk away, connecting you to the Matiatia ferry terminal, Oneroa Village, and Onetangi Beach on regular routes. It’s an easy, relaxed way to explore the island without needing a car.
If you’ve brought a vehicle, there’s on-site parking, and most of Waiheke’s highlights including beaches, cafés, and vineyards are within a ten-minute drive. E-bikes and scooters can also be hired nearby if you want to take things at your own pace.
However you travel, the island feels connected and simple, buses glide along coastal roads, taxis are available when you need them, and every trip comes with a sea view.
Other Things to Note:
