What a spot!!

There were 7 of us and we loved our stay. Heaps of space, comfy beds and the thermal outdoor bath was was used too! Everything you need and a view of mountains and lake too.

Lovely, large stay

Another awesome stay

This is the second time we've stayed at the Hilltop property. It is well presented and has heaps of space. The view from the front deck is superb, especially the sunsets. Always speedy communication and we will definitely be back again in the future.

Lovely spacious whare. Had everything you’d expect. The fire in the living room is amazing! Was a good place for families with the various sleeping arrangements. Kids also enjoyed the spa.There were a lot of cockroaches in the rumpus room - which didn’t bother us as we didn’t sleep in that room (and the kids had a blast catching them - very entertaining!) We’d stay again if needing a place in Taupō.

Great place for a larger group

We only stayed a short while but had a great time, the house was big enough that we weren't on top of each other which was nice!

Great location, big house

We stayed as a group of six adults and two young kids - the house was perfect for us and even had plenty of space to share. We enjoyed the functional kitchen and living area, ample outdoor space, and great views of the lake and sunset. The location is a short drive or long walk into town and a short walk to a great hot water beach on the lakefront. Overall I would recommend this house and would happily stay again!

Great place

Had such an awesome stay at the house. Was so handy for the kids after their full on day the Taupo global rugby tournament. Can’t thank you enough for having this house to offer us. Was very warm and cosy and the hot tub was fantastic.

Friends retreat

2nd time at this property and we will be looking forward to staying again. An ideal place for groups of friends to use as a convenient base for Taupo based activities. All the amenities that you need to ensure a comfortable stay. Overall, excellent!

Our stay

fantastic place to visit. Great for the 2 families to meet! Plenty of room the cat the “befriended us” even had space!!! The hot tub and bunk beds were a HUGE hit with the kids!!!!! So warm, relaxing and the views were outstanding! The men were happy to have have sky to watch the rugby and be far away enough from the sleeping kids they could use whatever language they wanted. I would happily and confidently recommend here and we will definitely be back, maybe over summer to enjoy the views and back gardens. Thank you!!!!

Wonderful house

We all loved staying here - there was so much space for us all and a good view of the lake. The bbq on the back deck was well utilised too. We all agreed we would definitely stay here again when visiting Taupo. The spa is filled with hot water from under the ground - takes a few hours then you add cold water to bring the temperature down - we all enjoyed the novelty of that.

Great location

Good location and set up for combined family. Good communication from owner. Place was not clean though, as there was rubbish in rooms under and next to beds, and needed to vaccum two rooms to start

Great Stay

Had a great time at this Bach! The location is great, fabulous house with ample room for two families. Lake views and lots of space. We enjoyed the hot pool too. The place was very keen and I really appreciated the fantastic communication from the owner.
