Handsome villa with magnificent garden and large pool

The ground floor has a spacious well-equipped kitchen, an elegant dining room with an entrance hall for reading, a bright spacious living room, a billiards room and a library with TV. A simple stone staircase leads to an impressive storage heater in the past. 1 Floor. Here are a suite with private bathroom and stunning sea Monte Rosa massif, 2 beautiful double and 2 single rooms with large terraces and views of the lush garden and the local mountains of Varese and a simpler double rooms available. In the hallway are for users of these rooms a large bathroom with shower and toilet and a small bathroom with shower and toilet.
On the south side of the house invites a spacious terrace with 2 beautiful glass tables, which seat 10 people, a meal and linger. A wide stone staircase leads to the pergola with the barbecue area.
The garden with its varied vegetation and its cozy corners ideal for Dolce far niente and dreams. On the gravel courts can play petanque and under the canopy of an architecturally very beautiful outbuilding ping pong. Very very well received by young and old alike will find the large private swimming pool, which is surrounded by beautiful plants and trees and forms a very popular meeting place.
The village, which is within walking distance well and quickly (in 10 minutes), offers an intact and genuine village life. In the village square there is a simple good restaurant and 2 shops selling eatables. A wide selection of restaurants and shops is available in Luino. The lively town with a beautiful lakeside location, which is known primarily for its Wednesday market, can be reached in 10 minutes by car. In the vicinity are many cultural Local attractions (museums, churches, villas, ...). Even those who want to play sports or visiting beautiful cities, comes at his expense. It is possible to play tennis and golf, sailing, horseback riding, biking, hiking. Popular excursion destinations are Milan, Varese, Como, the Borromean Islands, Lugano, Locarno and Bellinzona.

A dream!

We had the most wonderful time at Casa Donati with family and friends for a week of birthday celebration and relaxation. The characterful house, the lush garden, the views and sounds of the valley, the swimming pool were a dream. We can't wait to come here again!

Lovely Old Villa.

This is a lovely old traditional Italian Villa. Clean and with very good quality up to date equipment. Lots of inside space which we didn’t need as weather was perfect. Views from the house were beautiful. The house is a bit off the beaten track away from crowded tourist areas but easy to get to and the pizzeria in the village is excellent and walkable. The owners were very welcoming, showing us around the property and also rang during our stay to check all okay which was much appreciated. Thank goodness for the lovely pool and we enjoyed walking around the gardens. Thank you very much.

Grosszügige Unterkunft für einen entspannten Urlaub

Die Casa Donati, an ruhiger Lage, umgeben von einem parkähnlichen Garten mit lauschigen Sitzplätzen und einem grossen, gepflegten Pool, bot unserer 7-köpfigen Familie die perfekte Umgebung für einen unbekümmerten Urlaub. Einzelne regnerischen Tage verbrachten wir mit Billard, Darts und Gesellschaftsspielen auf der schönen Terrasse. Die Foodies unter uns liessen sich von der Küche begeistern, die mit hochwertigen, modernen Geräten ausgestattet ist und in der es an nichts mangelte. Das gesamte Haus war ausgesprochen sauber und in gepflegtem Zustand. Wir können einen Aufenthalt in der schönen Casa Donati nur empfehlen!

Ein ganz besonderer Ort!

Wir waren bereits zum vierten (oder fünften?) Mal in diesem wunderbaren Haus, in dem der "gute Geist" der Vermieter überall zu spüren ist. Die herzliche Begrüßung war immer die ideale Einstimmung auf den bevorstehenden Urlaub. Die Zimmer wurden im Lauf der Zeit behutsam renoviert, die Villa ist mehr als großzügig geschnitten, ein Billardtisch und ein Klavier sorgen drinnen für außergewöhnliche Freizeitgestaltung. Die Austattung der Küche ist einfach umwerfend! Der verwunschenene und verwinkelte Garten bietet ausreichend Platz, um sich zurückzuziehen, der Pool sorgt für viel Freude bei warmen Temperaturen. Bei schönem Wetter spielt sich das Leben draußen ab, von der Terrasse aus genießt man den unglaublichen Blick ins Grüne bis zum Monte-Rosa-Massiv. Ausflugsmöglichkeiten gibt es reichlich, an und auf dem Lago Maggiore, in die Berge oder nach Mailand. Für uns eins der schönsten Urlaubsziele - unsere mittlerweile teilweise erwachsenen Kinder hatten sich dieses Jahr noch einmal einen Aufenthalt in der Casa Donati gewünscht- und für zwei befreundete Familien perfekt geeignet!

Traumhaus in den Bergen Norditaliens

Wir haben mit unserer Großfamilie zwei herrliche Wochen in der Casa Donati verbracht und wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Die historische Villa liegt etwas oberhalb von Lago Maggiore und bietet einen dramatischen Blick auf die Berge wo man von weit her das sanfte Läuten der Kirchenglocken hört. Das Haus und die Küche sind reichlich ausgestattet. Die Schlafzimmer waren am Abend alle angenehm kühl auch wenn es tagsüber sehr heiß war. Der Pool ist groß und sehr sauber gehalten. In der hügeligen Gegend kann man vor allem am Morgen gut wandern oder joggen, und gleich in der Nähe gibt es einen kleinen Spielplatz für Kinder. Herr und Frau Donati waren die perfekten Gastgeber und haben sich rührend um unser Wohl gekümmert. Das einzige was etwas gestört hat war der Nachbarhund im Käfig, der öfters gebellt hat. Wir werden die schönen Abende auf der Terasse vermissen! J.J. (Norwegen)

Casa Donati - eine Oase zum Wohlfühlen

Auch beim dritten Urlaub in der Casa Donati sind die wunderschöne Umgebung, der sehr gute Zustand der ganzen Anlage, die liebevoll eingerichteten Räume und der überwältigende Garten immernoch ein Erlebnis. Eine Oase zum Wohlfühlen und entspannen. Sehr freundliche und nette Vermieter. Sicherlich nicht der letzte Urlaub an diesem schönen Fleckchen.

Casa Donati - Das Leben ist schön

Wir kennen dieses Haus bereits seit einigen Jahren. Die geschmackvolle Ausstattung, die großzügigen Räume, der paradiesähnliche Garten, das gesamtstimmige Ambiente, der Ausblick auf die Landschaft und die hohen Berge und vieles mehr brachten uns auch dieses Mal wieder eine absolut erholsame Urlaubswoche. Alles tipptop gepflegt und bestens durch die Vermieter arrangiert. Wir kennen viele schöne Ferienunterkünfte, aber das Casa Donati übertrifft alles.

Traumurlaub im Paradies

Wir landeten in der Casa Donati und waren überwältigt von der Lage, dem Haus und dem Pool! Eigentlich zu schön zum Weiterempfehlen - nicht, dass wir dann keinen Platz mehr dort bekommen ;-)) Vielen Dank an die sehr netten Eigentümer für den herzlichen Empfang und den sehr netten Kontakt davor und danach - wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf nächstes Jahr!

Superbe séjour! Une seule envie: revenir!

La maison est encore plus belle en réalité, très bien équipée. Le jardin est magnifique et la vue splendide. Beaucoup de charme!. Belle région, beaucoup de visites à réaliser aux alentours. Chaleureux accueil par le propriétaire. Quoi dire de plus... DES MAGNIFIQUES VACANCES EN FAMILLE et une seule envie: revenir!
