We had a wonderful 5 week stay here in Brunswick, and the hosts were excellent and thoughtful.Best things - the hosts are really kind and communicative (quick to respond to messages and quick to address any questions or needs). They left us a Christmas tree so we could have one for our 3 year old, and bought her a gift to put under the tree! So nice! The location was great, a 2 minute walk to a 15/20 minute tram ride on a frequent tram into the city, and you go past the zoo! A supermarket, cafe with amazing baked goods, and excellent hipster wine store so close, and an easy walk to Sydney rd bars & restaurants. But the neighbourhood itself is quiet and relaxed. The apartment is very clean, bed perfectly comfortable, tons of toilet paper/paper towel/laundry soap etc left for us to use - very generous. Other things to know - it's a little apartment. That suited us just fine as we weren't there a lot (just to sleep and shower really). If you're there for an extended period and looking for a place to spend a lot of nights in, the sofa isn't particularly comfy and the bathroom being located off the bedroom is tricky if someone goes to bed early or sleeps in. We put a little mattress on the floor of the bedroom for our kid and it was tight, but worked for us. It's an older place, so while very very clean, the bathroom gets dusty with the moisture, and the front door lock is a bit finicky. We had a great trip, loved the hosts and would stay again for sure. Thank you!
