Dawn, hostess of the property, gave timely and meaningful responses to our initial questions about the kitchen's accommodation for warming up food. Her responsiveness sold us on the dream to stay in this excellent rental. The full-size refrigerator, two-burner hot plate, convection oven, and well – stocked utensils made food prep easy. Cleanliness was superb. The view out the window for the hours we enjoyed sitting was remarkable. We didn't need to turn on the heaters, but I can imagine that the bathroom heater will take a long time to warm up the room for a good shower. This is a lovely place for several days of relaxation, but it would be a little cramped if we had winter clothes or ski equipment.

Great Getaway for Two

This was a lovely place to stay for an extra long Memorial weekend trip! The property is close to all the fun things in Mazama - hiking, biking, climbing, the Mazama Store/Brewery, and was a beautiful location to hang out at as well! The small, attached studio was perfect for my partner and I. Dawn was quick to respond to my questions and very helpful as well. I would absolutely try to stay here again!

Ski getaway

Nice and clean and cozy. GREAT location for access to ski trails. Very quiet and beautiful setting in the trees with view of the imposing Goat Wall through the trees. We would stay here again. . .

Had a wonderful time skiing right out the door.

We found the accommodations to be cozy and had everything we needed. The host was excellent and very quick to respond. It was great to step out the door and into skis! What fun.

Mazama studio cabin in the woods.

Mazama is west of Winthrop in Washington state. It is BEAUTIFUL! The mazama pub is excellent! There are miles and miles of amazing trails to hike, ride, cross country ski, fat bike, etc. We loved the location of the cabin. It suited our needs, and we'd stay there again.

Amazing energy great spot!!

This property is exactly as advertised. It is not fancy nor does it have amazing Internet or cellular connection. That being said, it is the absolute perfect place to unplug and enjoy a few days of nature and amazing energy. I completely enjoyed my stay and the quiet scenery was spectacular. I highly recommend this property to anybody who just wants to enjoy the beauty this Valley has to offer.. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here.

kitchen lacks a microwave, in consideration of electrical system's lack of capacity. for my meal prep this meant more time spent than usual and more dishes made dirty. refrigerator and air conditioner are nice to have, necessary but noisy. overall, a nice place to stay, very quiet and peaceful location. convenient to my hikes in the national park.

Best ski spot

We loved that we could ski right out the door to trails! The studio had all the kitchen amenities and plenty of towels and extra blankets. We never heard any noise from the main house, it was a very quiet spot. Driveway was plowed a couple times, easy to get in and out. It would be nose to have a place to hang wet gear and maybe a big tray for boots? Thanks

Beautiful location with minimal accommodations

I am an anxious person so knowing that I could easily trip the breaker and not be able to reset it was worrisome. There was no oven - so no pizza as planned. There was also minimal to no water in the bathtub so showering was out of the question. There is definitely room to make this a much more enjoyable stay.
