Charming farmhouse

The home was very clean and tastefully decorated. Shelley even had a Christmas tree and lots of treats for us to eat. The location is walkable to a few dining options and there is a grocery store nearby. I gave it 4 stars because the gate was inconvenient. It was large enough to accommodate all of us, especially the large table. Plenty of plates, bowls, utensils, and other necessary kitchen items. Shelley was quick to help us if we needed anything. I would stay here again.

Skiing at Snowbird

Nice clean, warm, quiet. Classic American home, loved the radiant warm bathroom floor in the cold morning. Great television set up and all amenities like dishes and coffee were great.

Simple space

Simple home with an odd layout. The bathrooms are a bit difficult if you’re a tall guy. Also the gate at the entrance is not friendly to access.

In general we liked the place. The host was very kind and let us check in early and there were enough beds for everybody. You can definitely tell that they tried to make the place clean and modernize it for a bit, but there were some reasons we knocked off a star. For one thing, when we showed up the house was over 80 and it took a full day with the AC at full blast to get it below that, so we were pretty uncomfortable that first day. The other main reasons were that the house is really old. It freaks a lot whenever anybody moves so it was a bit hard to sleep, especially since the beds were also pretty old and creaky. For the most part we had a good time, but those are some things to be aware of before booking.
