Property was clean and tidy. Lots of room as described. If you are staying a while, just know that the dishes are limited, so if you plan on cooking, reach out to the host to make sure what you plan to use to cook is available

Overall very functional. Kitchen utensils were scarce, not much for decor, and the outside yards are in rough shape. Nice quiet street, clean and spacious house, and reasonably priced for what you get.

Workable place to stay with a large group, don’t expect comfort or quality. The space is large and useful as a home base for a wedding or large party off site. But not really a place you would want to spend any time. Be careful on the stairs as there are exposed nails, and the furniture is absolutely bare bones to an extreme degree.The host is generally communicative but unsupportive when things go wrong.

Beautiful home but staples not removed from the stairs after removing carpet was a big concern for us especially with children in our group. We had to wear slippers / shoes at all times. Bathrooms were lacking towel racks and place to put soap. Closets were not cleaned properly. Mattress is on the soft side. House was spacious enough for our group of 9 adults and 2 kids.

Pros: Location, price, room quantity, comfortable beds, bunny rabbit visitor in yard.Cons: Dirty, neglected exterior, shared laundry facility only useable from 10am to 5pm, broken couch, no bedroom furniture outside of a couple night tables and one broken tv stand, exposed staples on stairs, 5 clothes hangars in entire house, 2 bath towels per bedroom, one hand towel per bathroom, minimal/damaged cooking utensils, used chopsticks in with the minimal cooking utensils - sadly we could go on...This is the first home rental we've been to that we didn't feel at home in and were very disappointed in. We were told by the owner that they would send some kitchen utensils, clothes hangars and additional linens over - but never happened. Contrary to the listing, this is a shared laundry with the downstairs tenant. We were advised by tenant to only do our laundry from noon to 3pm and then advised by owner that the times are 10am to 5pm (impractical either way when you are a tourist trying to spend daytime hours visiting attractions). We understand that it is a very reasonably priced property, but if we had known that it would be so sub-standard we would have paid more elsewhere. This place needs a serious refurbishing, more than one TV and some decorations. We had to resort to bringing dining room chairs to use in the bedrooms to keep our suitcases off the floor because we couldn't put our clothing anywhere else.Disappointing experience overall.

Overall, this property was just okay and not what we hoped for. We were not very impressed when we walked in as the home is extremely dated, run down, and not very well maintained. There was also a very strong unpleasant odour even though you could tell the home was very well cleaned. The house is very big with lots of beds and serves that purpose well. However, the stairs were extremely unsafe as they had staples running all the way up and down that were fully exposed (I'm assuming from removing a carpet) which is very dangerous and I couldn't let my toddler walk or crawl there as a result, and the stairs make extremely loud creaks when you walk on them. The other thing we were very disappointed by is there was no mention that someone was going to be living in the basement during our stay and they were very noisy at night and in the morning (with kids). I never even heard from the host for check-in instructions and had to reach out myself the morning of and then they just gave me a door code and said to park on the right side of the driveway which I found weird but later realized it was because they were parking on the left and living downstairs. You need to tell your guests that before booking. The furniture and the beds were extremely cheap, primitive and run down and the home felt quite cold and old. Overall, not thrilled about this stay and was pretty disappointed and would not book it again. Giving it 3 stars because its in a great location and has many beds.

We didn't receive any word about check-in on the day of arrival. We arrived at 3:30 pm and contacted host who said the cleaner didn't show up. They gave us door code so we could use the washrooms. We asked them to let us know when the cleaning was done. We didn't receive any word that the cleaning was done, so we entered at promised completion time at 8:00 pm. The place felt cold and empty with no decorations on the walls. There was an unpleasant odour. The beds were soft and sink down. The bedrooms were spartan and only had a bed and a small bedside table. No closet in the two downstairs bedrooms. The kitchen was sparse. We opened all the cabinets and drawers to look for utensils and dishes. No labels or instructions. I didn't find the coffee filters until later since it was pushed to the back of cabinet. The thermostat was hard to find. The buttons on the unit were finicky. Finally, there is another AirBnB unit in the basement! We didn't realize this or wouldn't have booked. We could hear a baby crying downstairs at night. The washer and dryer are in the basement next to the other unit. We had to message the host to locate it. I requested some discount for the late check-in, and the host said absolutely. It's been two days and I've heard nothing since. I don't recommend this property. It left a bad taste. There's absolutely no effort to make the place look inviting. It looks worse in reality. The only positive is it's in a nice and quiet community.

Great neighborhood. House was very nice, even though it is a bit dated. Close to shopping center and grocery stores. Please was very clean and taken care of. More seating in the living room area would be nice great. As another reviewer said, the staples in the stairs are a bit weird, but just staying in the middle of the steps will avoid them. There was a lack of communication at checkout, but would not discourage me from renting again.
