This is a lovely little house in a quiet street, only a minute walk to the Main Street restaurants, shops & cafes.

The property is located in Kensington, which has an excellent train service into Melbourne. I had a hire car and parked outside the property with the use of a parking permit supplied by the host, so I didn’t have to worry about parking.The property itself is a walk through with two bedrooms at the front, lounge in the middle and kitchen at the rear. The bedrooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable. Portable heaters were supplied in each room, but were not required on this trip.The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots and pans you would require and the pantry had items such as cooking oil, spices and even a container of rice. Not sure if it was supplied by the host or left by previous guests.We ate in using the excellent facilities. However, the Hardimans Hotel a few yards up the road served good food.I would thoroughly recommend this property for a stay in Melbourne.

We stayed for two nights as a family of four adults. The house is well equipped. We used the kitchen for our breakfasts and dinner. The washing machine and dryer was a bonus for us. We loved it. The surrounding is peaceful and walkable short distances to good restaurants. We had takeaway from Clay Oven pizza and Kenny's Charcoal Chicken. Check in was well instructed and easy. Thank you for hosting us.

Such a lovely place to stay. They had everything you would need for a short or longer stay. Surrounded by places for coffee and food and it was quick and easy to get into the city. We didn't use our car at all during our stay. We also appreciated the extra blankets and bedroom heaters to return to after a long day in the city. Our family would love to come back again and I have already recommended to other family members.
