This charming retreat features plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. The upper sun deck is furnished with lounge chairs, providing the perfect spot to soak up the Florida sunshine. A spacious outdoor bar area is ideal for sipping morning coffee or evening cocktails. Several patios with seating offer comfortable spaces for dining al fresco or simply relaxing in the fresh air. After a day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower and unwind in the peaceful surroundings. Inside, the home is tastefully updated with a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living area, and comfortable bedrooms, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The property also offers ample parking and a prime location, just minutes from local attractions, dining, and shopping. For those looking to explore beyond Marathon, Key West is just an hour away, making for an easy and scenic day trip. Whether you're here to explore the Keys, soak up the sun, or enjoy the laid-back Marathon atmosphere, La Casa de la Playa is the perfect home base for your Florida Keys getaway.
SLEEPS MAXIMUM OF 4 GUESTS:

Kitchen: Nicely equipped (all things necessary to prepare and serve a meal)
- Parking for up to 2 vehicles, including boat trailers (driveway 21' W x 18' D). RV's are not permitted.

- 5 miles to Sombrero Beach
- 16 miles to Bahia Honda State Park
IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:
Age & Occupancy: The booking tenant must be 25 years or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the stay. This property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and not for worker housing.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.
Pet Policy: Pets are strictly prohibited. To help maintain a pet-free environment for all, we require every guest to confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and does not require creating an account. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.
Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.

Everything was just like it showed. Close 2 everything & a very quiet and relaxed neighborhood. Outside gardens are beautiful. We really enjoyed our three weeks there.Thanks Itrips for a great vacation.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place was as listed. We were comfortable here. The only down side is someone close by would daily smoke weed which was very strong when the smell came into our yard. This has nothing to do with the place itself but the location. The backyard was a wonderful tropical oasis.

The grounds, sitting areas and vegetation beautiful. Interior very clean and spacious. I would have liked more cookware as it was difficult cooking pasta in a skillet. The kitchen lacked a waste/garbage can and we required to wash towels with no detergent supplied. I would have some other suggestions but all in all the place served our purpose. We are 3 seniors.exp
