If an amazing view is what you're after, don't hesitate to book this property. It definitely has the WOW factor. The climb to the apartment, some 150 stairs, are not for those unwilling to get a little out of breath! It is superbly clean, well equipped and peaceful. The hosts were lovely, kind, helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had about the area and the amenities. It's a hidden gem. Book it but don't tell everyone.

Nice dolce vita apartment

A large aparment with a superb view on Sestri Levante's bay. Plus: great view, large apartment, nice terrace, wel equipped, various rooms Minus: the train station is in the centre in front of the house. It prevents sleeping with the window open. The other minus is the large number and steps to climb to go to the apartment. It caused us not to go out as often as we would normally do. The steps are doable but can lead to some sweating in the heat.

So bleibt man fit!

Traumhafte Aussicht

Das Haus bietet alles, was man braucht.

Traumwohnung in fantastischer Lage

Tolle Aussicht suf Sestri.

180 STEPS - be aware

This property is right for some people and definitely wrong for others. Unfortunately, it was wrong for us. There are 180 steep steps to reach the house from the parking space. There is no other way up. I believe it would be most honest to warn people of this in the listing, which is the point at which people will be making the decision, but the listing makes no mention of it. After we arrived and discovered this issue, when I asked about it, the property manager told me I had been informed in an email. Sure enough, she had mentioned it in an email, but it was buried at the bottom of a very long email, most of which was unimportant duplicative information. I take responsibility for missing this crucial fact, but I do think it would be more honest to state it up front in the listing itself. The house is very nice, classic Italian mid-century design, mostly well-maintained. The view is spectacular. Although there are other houses on the same hillside, it's mostly woodland, and mosquitos are an issue. If the steps don't bother you, and if you're not the first person that the mosquitos go for, then this is a nice place to stay.

Traumhafter Blick, PKW Stellplatz problematisch
