We stayed at this location for a few weeks while we had business in the Plano/McKinney area. The home was perfect for our needs! It was clean and inviting, and it had just enough room for our party. We especially appreciated the quiet neighborhood that was close to many amenities in the McKinney area. We recommend the lighted “night walk” in nearby Towne Lake Park!
Location was very central and easy to get to different locations. Everything was clean and comfortable.I needed to cut my trip short due to a death in my family and the owners kindly adjusted the rental price.
Perfect location, just 3 miles from our son. Had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen and the house was very clean. Met all of our needs.

The A/C never worked. The interior of the house was never below 84 degrees. After 6 days of misery the owner offered to refund the remainder of our stay if we checked out early. We packed up and cleaned the home, texted the owner’s contact and left within an hour to stay in a nearby hotel for the remaining 5 days of our stay. A month later, the owner has never responded to us nor their contact nor VRBO and we are stuck paying full price for the miserable 6 days we were there and for the 5 days we weren’t.

From us here at Evolve, our records show that a refund was issued, but we understand that any delay in processing may have added to your frustration. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we worked to resolve the matter. We connected with the owner, who shared the following: We are truly sorry for the situation and the discomfort it caused and appreciate your understanding. We regret that you were unable to complete your stay and thank you for sharing your experience with us. Unfortunately, the entire A/C system stopped working overnight, and although we attempted to resolve the issue promptly, the system required a full replacement. Throughout your stay, we remained in contact with our property management team at Evolve to ensure you were properly compensated for the inconvenience and not charged for the remaining days.
The owner was aware that the air conditioner was out and did not communicate that to us. When we arrived at the property (8:30pm) no one could get ahold of the owner and it was 85 degrees in the house. The next morning we were assured that the AC would be fixed and when we went back to house at 4pm no one had been there and the property manager told us to get a hotel and get a refund. After booking a hotel we were told we would only get half of our money back if they couldn't get ahold of owner. Shockingly they still have not gotten ahold of the owner to approve the remaining funds be refunded. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had with VRBO.

From the owner: “I’m truly sorry for the air conditioning issue this guest experienced. The system unexpectedly failed overnight, and we worked quickly to have it repaired, but it ultimately required a full replacement. I understand how frustrating this was and appreciate the guest’s patience and understanding during an unfortunate situation that was beyond our control.”
