I had a group of 7 for ice fishing, it was very accommodating and a great location to access the lake. Everything you need for cooking, sleeping. Easy check in.
The cabin was very nice and clean had anything you need to cook a delicious meal. The host were very responsive and friendly they even helped me get the cabin through Vrbo when I was having problems with my airbnb account. The beach was only a few minutes away which was awesome as my daughter loves to swim. Over all the stay was really great
A quick trip to meet up with friends on our way to Hecla. The house was fantastic! Plenty of room for our group of 7. Outdoor space was perfect for grilling, socializing and having dinner. Wish there was 4 actual bedrooms, but we made it work with no issues. Would stay again!!
Place was great, and clean, had tons of kitchen utensils to use, and lots of coffee options. Advertised as 4 bedrooms, but only had 3.

Thank you for your review! I’m so glad you had a great stay. I appreciate your feedback, and I’ll make sure to leave clear instructions for turning the TV on and off, as well as accessing Netflix, Disney , and TV channels.
What a great place to stay!!! This place is great for group getaways or for larger families. We travelled with adults and kids. This place was spacious and cozy at the same time. The proximity to the beach and town was very close. The place itself had everything we needed. The attention to detail was great. I liked that there was an info binder about the town itself. Signage through out to let us know about the sauna, which futon folded out, wifi info etc… I especially loved the quiet room. Very aesthetically pleasing . Alejandro was very easy going and accessible leading up to the trip and during our stay. We will most definitely be back.
We had a group of 8 stay here for some ice fishing on lake Winnipeg and this property was all that you wanted. It had everything we needed to make our stay great! From the fully stocked kitchen (all the pots and pans, coffee cups silverware etc….) to the bathroom towel and shower towels shampoo….. it had everything we needed. Thank you for making our weekend!

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Disliked: Check-in
A large cottage with LOTS of effort put into providing everything you’d need for a fun stay with friends and/or family… games, pizza oven, popcorn machine, a huge TV with plenty of comfy seating, every appliance you could ever need, and a large fridge/freezer. Unfortunately there were some disappointing misses; Fans without functioning remote controllers, majority of the beds were pullout couch beds with very thin mattresses, hot tub not working, took ten minutes to get hot water each time we turned on taps or showers, water ran down the wall inside the dining area due to a roof leak, and zero instructions were given on how to lock the digital door locks. The misses can be fixed so I would still say this cottage was quite nice. The location was great and the large size was also appreciated. Lots of room to move about.

Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed the size of the cottage, the location, and the many amenities provided.
That said, I do want to correct a few points.
The fans do have functioning remote controls, and I would have been happy to help if you couldn’t locate them.
Because this is a large cottage, hot water can take a little longer to reach certain taps and showers, but it normally takes under a minute, not ten minutes.
The hot tub was not included in your booking, was not advertised when you reserved, and had only recently been delivered. It was not yet electrically connected or available for guest use.
Regarding the digital lock, you messaged me early Sunday morning asking how to lock the door, and I responded approximately 30 minutes later. The lock is secured by pressing the lock button. I will still add clearer instructions for future guests.
I appreciate you mentioning the roof leak, and I will address it.
I’m glad you still described the cottage as nice, spacious, well-equipped, and in a great location.
I also think it’s important to clarify that our interactions were friendly and positive until Sunday morning, when you became upset about not knowing how to operate the digital lock and expected an immediate response. I responded within approximately 30 minutes and would have been happy to help with any other concerns during your stay.
