Excellent property, well set up with anything you could want/need on a short stay. Separate one bed/one bath was great for privacy, would be perfect for 2 couples or extended family. Lovely grounds, deck and BBQ area.

Great accomodation with a beautiful private garden setting. We loved the flow from the stylish living area through the bifold doors onto the large deck that links the main house and the separate second bedroom and bathroom. Easily walkable to both the beach and estuary, a little bit further away from the main road shops but we enjoyed the peace and quiet of this. Well equipped with everything you need for an awesome beach holiday.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. We were welcomed with some delicious snacks and a beautifully appointed home. We loved the deck and being able to spreadout, enjoying the sun and shade in differernt spots and at different times of the day. The adults loved their honeymoon suite and the kids liked the outside bath. Our little schnauzer loved his beach holiday. What a treat for all of us. Thank you Nicole for a lovely getaway
We enjoyed our quiet holiday, facilities were as advertised. Location was good in South Whangamatā. The whole Beach was great for swimming when neighbouring beaches were dumpy. Dog walks by the estuary are ideal. Property is comfortable and well stocked.

Secluded property and well presented however intimidating dogs next door. Bathroom fittings need upgrading. The kitchen, outdoor areas and bedroom were lovely.

The property is fully fenced. All dogs will bark as any dog owners would be aware of, hence the reason we advertise as pet friendly.
Both bathrooms are clearly shown in photos, one has been recently refurbished with Elite Bathroom fixtures, the second is fitting for a cottage as advertised with photos.
This rating is disappointing as we have never received this type of feedback prior.

Thanks for your feedback.Just to clarify, for future guests...the property is only 700m to the estuary, 1km to the beach (2min drive on Google maps).
There is a coffee plunger and a teapot in the cupboard, shame you didn't text as would have let you know.

My family and I stayed here for several nights over Beach Hop 26, the accommodation made for a great experience all round. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed and more, the covered bbq dining area was perfect during the wet part of our stay. Thank you so much for allowing us to bring our fur baby, she loved the beach walks every night.
