Parking in the alleyway was easy with our van, great location, comfortable home. Host provided a local’s tips for restaurants etc which was great too. Very walkable and enjoyable!

Very well kept property with full amenities. Good location and easy parking. I would have appreciated a dressing table and the blinds in the lounge were inoperative. Overall very comfortable stay.

Visited with my two kids in their twenties and the house worked out well. We liked the location near Wind and Sea beach. It was a very hot week in August and we appreciated the pool and air conditioning. The interior is nicely updated and had everything we needed for a great stay.

Perfect house in a wonderful location! The home was spacious, comfortable, and our family of four enjoyed the pool and close walking proximity to the beach, restaurants, coffee cafes, and more. As a family who has a few meals out but prepares most meals to dine in while on vacation, we were pleasantly surprised how well stocked the pantry and fridge were with condiments, tea, spices, cooking spray, etc. that we dread buying when we travel. We recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future!

The house was a great for our family. Close to shops and restaurants plus Windansea beach made it perfect for different adventures. They also had plenty of games, the kitchen was well stocked and the pool was so fun for our kiddos. Upon arrival the owner also left treats which was a very nice touch. I would stay again anytime!

The pictures do not do this place justice. It is very beautiful inside. The pool is so very nice. We did not try out the fireplace as it was hot when we were there. It is very well stocked with anything you could need. Plenty of cookware and games. The primary bed was exceptional to sleep on.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Surf Nest! The house is beautiful and is in a prime location between Bird Rock and Windansea. The neighborhood is quiet, and you’re less than 2 blocks from the ocean and a prime sunset viewing spot! Our hosts were very communicative and check-in was a breeze. We would definitely stay here again, and fully recommend it to others!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. The checkin process was very easy and self-explanatory. The house is beautiful with beautiful tree lines along the street. The walk to the beach is a breeze and the property has beach chairs for use as well as beach towels. We enjoyed the board games in the evenings with our young children. Thank you and look forward to our next trip to La Jolla.

This is a fabulous property. We loved the location being minutes (walking) from the ocean. The house was immaculate and had all the amenities we needed. It was quiet and comfortable. The bedrooms were spacious and equipped with appropriate linens and storage space. There were areas that we could gather and all be together. Communication with the host was timely and efficient. Really enjoyed our time here and would love to return.

Another wonderful stay here. Perfect location to explore the food and beach scene in La Jolla and a close drive to downtown San Diego for the city life. Hosts were very accommodating. We will always want to return!
