Perfect for our extended family

We needed somewhere that could house 11 people ranging from 13 to 78 yrs old and this house was perfect! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well stocked, plenty of space to hang out and play games. It’s close to shops & restaurants. Perfect for our graduation weekend!

Nice place to stay

Property fit our needs, but more lighting is needed in most rooms except the kitchen and dining room. Also, no TV in the living room and only in the basement with seating for 2 wasn't ideal.

The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the washing machine. She quickly gave instructions and the problem was resolved. Overall, the house was in good condition and provided most everything we needed. We were greeted with a full bowl of bananas and apples and a case of bottled water which was very much appreciated. We did not find a hair dryer but had brought our own so that wasn't an issue. I let the host know that the lighting in the living room was inadequate. Given that it gets dark at 4:30 in November, the two dimly lit lamps did not provide enough light when we needed it. Also, there was no window curtain over the tub in the upstairs bathroom, so showering with any lights on left one feeling very exposed. The beds were comfortable but the stretchy sheet fabric was not to my liking.

Overall this property was a great fit for our group. Plenty of space in the generously sized bedrooms. The available kitchen equipment for cooking is minimal. If, like us, you don’t want to eat out for every meal, meal prep before your trip. There is a beautiful, spacious refrigerator to store everything. The cutlery and utensils are very basic and short in supply, along with pots and pans. The cleanliness is okay. We found food on the floor under the dining room table. For the amount charged for cleaning, I definitely expected better. Parking was a little tricky for us. Two oversized pickups. They were not fitting in the garages. They did fit in the parking spaces in front of the garages. Lastly, if anyone in your party has mobility issues, the steps are going to be a challenge.

Yes, host was welcoming. Amenities were great. Too bad the weather did not cooperate. The drive was was icy and very slippery. Once I reached out to the host it was address immediately.
