The Space:
The Field View 1 by Tiny Away can be found in a grassland meadow and offers sceneries of the unspoiled Kent countryside, just 10 minutes from Headcorn and 30 minutes from Maidstone town. The farm stay is accessed through lush cutting and vegetable gardens, offering a quaint retreat for nature enthusiasts. Guests can capture stunning wildlife photographs, including owls from our bird-breeding programme. Nearby attractions include Kent Life, Mote Park, Godinton House, Doddington Place Gardens, and The Big Cat Sanctuary.
A comfortable, 252-square-foot tiny house is one of our unique holiday homes with abundant natural bushland, easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amemnities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and an electric-heated shower.
Guest Access:
Guests can access the tiny house and surrounding areas. Guests will have access to all areas of the farm including our on-site restaurant and shop.
The Neighborhood:
The Field View 1 by Tiny Away, set in the Kent countryside just 30 minutes from Maidstone, offers a perfect rural retreat. Kent is known as "The Garden of England” and boasts a rich variety of landscapes, local food, and drink. Visitors can enjoy seasonal produce from farmers' markets and savor Kentish wines through arranged wine tours. The region also features local cider, beer, and gin producers. For those seeking adventure, the nearby Greensand Way provides excellent walking and hiking trails, including pub trails linking traditional Kentish inns.
Kent Life offers 28 acres of historic buildings, friendly farm animals, play areas, and homemade treats at Dotty’s Tea Room. For a change of pace, Mote Park in Maidstone unfolds across 450 acres of woodlands, wildlife, and a scenic lake. Meanwhile, Godinton House invites you to explore its Jacobean charm, complete with beautiful gardens, homemade teas, and plant sales. If you’re after variety, Doddington Place Gardens blends woodland, formal, and historic landscapes across ten acres. Finally, the Big Cat Sanctuary provides a unique 32-acre refuge dedicated to conserving endangered species like lions, tigers, and snow leopards.

By car:
- We are 20 minutes from Ashford and it is a 20 minute drive of 14.5 km.
- Easily accessible by 2WD and 4 WD
By public transport:
- We have a direct mainline train connection from London to Headcorn .
- There is a taxi service from Headcorn to us MTC 01622 890003. There is no bus service to the property.

- Please use the shower gel and shampoo provided in the tiny house
- There are four tiny houses on the property
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Smoking is allowed in certain areas on the property, smoking is not allowed in the tiny house
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- We have an onsite shop and restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Opening hours: Wed-Sun, 9am-9pm
- Mobile reception has a good signal for BT Group and O2; weak signals for Vodafone, Orange, and Three; there is no signal for the rest
Guest Advisory
- Expect limited connectivity as the tiny house is set in a rural locality
- Please be advised that we have free-roaming farm animals (and potential noise) on our property
- The livestock have a rotation grazing system, guests will be informed where they are on check-in.
- Pets are allowed by 24 hrs prior notice, and must be on leash at all times. The full policy will be sent before arrival.
- Please close doors and windows before leaving, turn off the lights, air conditioning, and electronics (e.g., especially chargers)
