We have rented this property over the years, but this stay was very disappointing. The air-conditioning was out - completely out. The AC has been hit or miss a little in previous years, but this time it was completely out and unusable. We reported it immediately and were told a vendor was on the way, but their said vendor never came. We were here with my grandkids on our hardworking family vacation and spent the trip sweating inside the house. The only solution they offered was a downgrade property, which was not an acceptable alternative for what we paid.I would not recommend until they can guarantee the AC works.
The villas were very nice and excellent if you have a boat...the furniture decisions in mine could have been a little better..loved the loft upstairs.. the beds were comfortable to sleep in. Great kitchen with appropriate cooking supplies . Gas Weber for bbq..good shape..overall a wonderful place to stay with great places to go.
Our family did enjoy our stay, unfortunately, would’ve been better if it didn’t rain the whole time, but we still made the best of it. Susan was a great host and immediately brought over a brand new hairdryer when I found that the unit didn’t have one.A very clean and nice place. Wish that the scenery was a little nicer from the balcony, but very close to everything and access to the water is outstanding.
The Villa was great. The only thing that it needs is a wooden skirt in the boat garage like most of the neighbors have.
I have a lower fiberglass Bass boat and it was very tough to keep it off all the steel supports and cross beams.

Thank you Marvin! It was great having you! We will certainly consider additions to the boat garage area in the future. As for right now, we do have a large number of bumpers available to use to help protect boats from the steel supports when the water level drops towards the end of the season. We’ve also found it helpful to tie up to the cleats on both sides of the slip to keep the boat securely in the middle.
Hope to see you back!
Had to use 2nd floor bathroom due to water leak out of light fixture on 1st floor. Very inconvenient!!!Dripping noise continued thru the night in garbage can. Had to keep emptying it.

Thank you for your feedback, Linda. We were very sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused by the unexpected leak from the air conditioning unit during your stay. We understand that this was disruptive, especially at night.
As you recall, we immediately offered to send an emergency HVAC professional to address the leak. While we always aim to resolve issues as quickly as possible, we respected your decision to decline access for repairs during your stay. This unfortunately meant the leak continued and we were unable to prevent the ongoing inconvenience you experienced, which was your choice.
We did our best to communicate with you throughout the situation and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. After you checked out, we immediately had the necessary repairs completed to prevent this from happening again. This was a very minor leak, that was fixed in a matter of minutes by the HVAC technician, so it is unfortunate that you refused them entry into the villa.
My boyfriend and I (and my small dog) spend a very nice few days in the Thousand Islands at this property. The space is comfortable, if slightly cramped in the bedrooms (the king bed is a great feature but the room is really too small for it) and the upstairs room is great, just beware the low ceilings, but the living space is great and it’s very nice to have the two levels. The outdoor space is tight as well (and buggy but that’s to be expected)— we were nervous to use the super comfy loungers bc they tended to hit the sliding door windows and the view is just OK but having private outdoor space is always a big plus and the boat garage can’t be beat if you are bringing your own boat. Overall a comfortable stay and the property manager was super responsive!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
The property itself was clean, nicely decorated and accurate to its description. However there were, what I felt to be major issues.Upon check-in we were told the elevator needed a key and a code. The code was provided to us upon arrival. We were perfectly capable of carrying our belongings upstairs but NOT the extremely heavy cooler which had been packed for a 3 hour drive with 3 days of food. We needed to contact the host via text and wait for her response. It was not immediate. We ended up carrying the cooler ourselves only to finally hear from her that the key was in a drawer in the kitchen. Not everyone on "vacation" is allowed to be internet free. It was imperative for us to connect to the wifi upon our arrival. The logon and password were conveniently provided to us on the kitchen counter, however, it didn't work. Again, we needed to contact the host. She suggested a couple elementary resolutions, including rebooting the router. We searched for the router, with no luck and again contacted the host, this time to ask "where is the router?" After waiting nearly 2 hours, she replied" it's behind the couch, downstairs." Absolutely exasperating!!On our first full day there, the kitchen sink totally backed up! We had to use the bathroom plunger to clear it.I purposely chose this property because it had a bathtub. However , it wouldn't hold water.I would definitely return to these properties but fortunately they are independently owned and we will use a different host.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you found the property clean, well decorated, and accurately represented.
To provide some additional context for future guests, our personal cell phone number is included in the check-in instructions because VRBO messaging is not always reliable. We strive to respond as quickly as possible, and while there was a short delay through the VRBO messaging platform, we did provide the elevator key location and assisted with the Wi-Fi troubleshooting during your arrival. With the inclement weather, the Wi-Fi was knocked off which unfortunately we cannot control.
We were not notified during your stay about the kitchen sink or the bathtub drain. Had we been made aware, we would have arranged to have those issues addressed immediately.
We appreciate all guest feedback and are always looking for ways to improve the experience for future visitors.
This is a great spot if you plan on vacationing and own a boat to travel and check out the river. Everything is there that you need to make for a great stay
Owner very attentive when we had an issue with the A/C. This is a great location for you when visiting Alexandria Bay. Within walking distance to restaurants and boat tours.
great convenient location, clean with updated finishes
This was our second time staying here. The location to all the islands and Alex Bay and having the boat garage right at the unit makes it very convenient. I could not recommend this Townhome enough it was very clean and has all the amenities that you could need. It felt like coming home when we arrived. We will be booking again for next year.
Love the location, the space and the owners. This continues to be an ideal spot for our crazy family. Thank you so much for another wonderful year in the Thousand Islands.
Very clean and updated Townhome The boat garage is great
We very much enjoyed our stay. The Townhouse was clean and nicely furnished and had just about everything you would need. The boat garage made boating easy and was very useful The owners were very responsive to any issues we had . I would highly recommend staying here and plan on making reservations for next summer.
Our stay at The Harbor Villas was very nice, our host Susan conveyed all the information we needed, the property was very clean and as advertised. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and quiet property while visiting the 1000 Islands area.
My only wish is that the water level wasn’t so low , in talking with people most said it was as low or lower than they’d ever seen, we searched out and found a launch that could accommodate our 28’ boat.
Great set up for boaters condo above and boat house right below.
Nice facilities new and modern, great concept for boat owners. Everyone was nice, condo owners next door, and guests.
Only complaint is the tight parking and lack of parking for family members as guests. Would be nice if property owners could make a deal with Pine Tree Point resort.

Thank you for your kind words about the villa! I apologize for any frustration with parking. Your stay was over the 4th of July holiday which is the busiest weekend of the year at the villas. It is not typically quite so crowded. Usually the one dedicated parking spot and guest parking are sufficient. Additional parking may also be reserved at the adjacent marina. Thank you for your suggestions and feedback, we are always looking for ways to improve our guests experience!
