We had a great time with 11 of us over the course of a week! Only thing is most of the beds are really stiff. Pool room is great, water access is great, definitely recommend for a big group!
We had an incredible experience at this property! The home was huge, beautifully maintained, and clearly designed with care and attention to detail. Every amenity we could possibly need was provided, from a fully stocked kitchen to peddle boats and thoughtful extras throughout. It was absolutely perfect for our big group, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The host was phenomenal, super quick to respond, helpful, and just all-around awesome to work with. You can tell they genuinely care about making sure guests have the best possible stay.Couldn’t have asked for a better place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

This is a large house with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Some of the mattresses are extra firm and I would suggest some rooms be furnished with twin beds instead of queen.
Although there are two large sitting areas the dining room is small and couldn’t seat our group.
There were a few housekeeping issues but when I reached out by email I received no response so we managed to resolve the issues ourselves.
The location is great and we enjoyed our stay here. We hope to return next year.
I would like to start by saying the home was a very stunning, peaceful property. The space and the nature, as well as the neighborhood, were amazing. The inside of the home was beautiful; the amount of bathrooms/bedroom ratio was amazing. They were all clean and cozy. There were a lot of step-ups through the home, so if elders have any walkers or need accessibility, sadly, it is not the best option. The homeowner and the amazing team were great with contact and understanding, as well as accommodating our family in our last-minute situation, and for that, we are all grateful. They were very friendly and welcoming as well. There were a lot of spices and cooking ware at the home, and a nice little coffee bar space. The nature around you is also a really beautiful thing. The river is full of turtles and frogs; the ducks are adorable to hear through the evening by the fire. And feeding off the dock with the kids, dragonflies on the water as well, those were the best parts.

Dear Cherise ,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review. We’re truly delighted to hear that you and your family enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the property and found comfort in the space, layout, and natural surroundings. It’s always a joy to host guests who appreciate the little things—like the coffee bar, the evening sounds of ducks by the fire, and the magic of dragonflies and turtles by the river.
We also sincerely appreciate your kind words about our team. It was our pleasure to accommodate your family, and we’re grateful we could be there for you during your last-minute plans.
Thank you as well for your honest note regarding accessibility. We’ll continue to keep that in mind for future improvements and to better inform guests during the booking process.
It would be a pleasure to welcome you and your loved ones back anytime. Wishing you all the best until then!
Warm regards,
Edward Liu
I’m an Ontario-based host focused on providing well-managed, reliable accommodations for guests seeking comfort, space, and a smooth stay. I approach hosting with an emphasis on organization, clear communication, and thoughtful preparation.
I enjoy hosting families and groups who value a relaxed, well-maintained lakeside environment. My goal is to offer a professional, dependable hosting experience so guests can focus on enjoying their time together without unnecessary concerns.
Why they chose this property
This lakeside area was chosen for its calm atmosphere, open surroundings, and direct access to Lake Simcoe. The neighborhood offers a peaceful waterfront setting that feels removed from the city, while still being within convenient driving distance of nearby towns, marinas, and essential services.
What I enjoy most about this location is the balance it provides—quiet mornings by the lake, open space for outdoor time, and a relaxed pace that makes it ideal for group stays and shared experiences without feeling isolated.
What makes this property unique
What makes Lake Simcoe Villa unique is its combination of a true waterfront setting, generous shared spaces, and a layout well suited for group stays. The home offers multiple gathering areas along with flexible sleeping arrangements, allowing guests to spend time together while still enjoying privacy when needed.
Direct lake access and the surrounding open setting create a genuine lakeside retreat experience. The property is especially well suited for families, multi-family stays, and groups looking for a comfortable, well-organized waterfront home rather than a typical short-term rental.
