This was a very nice stay. It is really close to Point Pelee National Park and the ferry to Pelee Island. It is exactly as described and very comfortable and clean. Lena did a great job communicating and check-in and checkout were very simple. We really enjoyed our visit!

This cottage is very close to Point Pelee National Park, a very cute little cottage, modern, clean and beautiful view of Lake Erie and the sunsets.

What a gem! The cottage is adorable with stunning lake views right from the front door. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bright living area made it easy to relax. Sunsets were absolutely breathtaking, and the private beach was perfect (though the ladders were a bit tricky). Location was ideal—just minutes from Point Pelee and a quick drive to town. I loved my stay!

We went for a sisters getaway, birdwatching in Point Pelee. The cottage was super close to the park, clean was right on the lake. The patio cushions were I pretty rough shape and the beds were not too sturdy. Communication was great.

Wonderful!

What a lovely visit we had - beautiful sunsets, right by Point Pelee National Park, comfortable stay. My only regret was I wasn’t comfortable climbing down to private beach area. Wish it would have been regular staircase. We plan on booking in again for next year.

This cottage was beautiful and the location was awesome. Stunning views of the lake. There are some basic things that would have made the week more pleasant. The coffee maker leaked everywhere and needs to be upgraded. The kettle also needs replacing, it took forever to boil. There is a ceiling fan right over the ladder on the bunk beds, it’s not safe at all if you have young kids. We couldn’t use that bed because my child kept hitting their head on the light getting in and out of bed. The queen bed has a double topper making it essentially a double bed. And the actual double bed saga between the supports, it should have slats or a box spring and was very uncomfortable. There’s no screen door leading to the deck or windows that open in that area which made it very hot. Overall it was a beautiful space but needs upgrades.

There was two foot of snow on the entrance leading from the road to the door. Was unable to bring groceries and, luggage into the cottage. So I just left. I contacted Lena and, asked if I could at least have half off since I’m not staying there and she refused. Said she wasn’t responsible for the snow removal. I was unaware that I needed to bring a snow shovel. I’ve never stayed at a VRBO before and I am not impressed. I just went home and didn’t spend the weekend. So she better not say that anything was wrong with the condo.

Sisters Birding Adventure

The location and view were perfect for a Point Pelee National Park birding weekend for first time visitors to Canada from Midwest USA. The property was nestled right on Lake Eerie. The sounds of the water and the views of the sunset were a treat! Much to our surprise our visit corresponded with May Fly season. We appreciated the fly swatter, but could have used a broom as well. The kitchen and bathroom were adequately supplied for our needs, however we could have used a few more wash cloths. Our only concern for future visitors would be the beds. As three petite women we found the beds a bit unstable. If our husbands would have been joining us we aren’t sure if the beds would have supported the weight of two people. Overall our stay was enjoyable, relaxing and would love to visit again!

Location is amazing for sunset view.Occupancy says 6, however I would say good for 4 people as the bed and room sizes are not comfortable for decent size adults. The bunk bed accommodation is not safe n comfortable.The patio furniture was substandard and had torn pillows.Access to beach is not safe for well built adults as they have pool ladders attached to patio.The patio door/ windows and main entrance had lots of cob webs and dead spiders. Could have been clean and better.Need better nonstick pans, of the two one was not good. Would be nice to have more dinnerware and glassware.
