Tamarack was clean and cozy Wish it had a kitchen sink to do dishes inThe beds were comfy, the futon couch was not But overall for our 3day stay it suited our purpose, it was centrally located to the places we wanted to visit.

This a cute little cottage. It is rustic and not brand spanking new. But it was very comfortable for the one night we spent there. There is no kitchen so if someone planned to make meals they should check out a larger cottage. The hosts were totally awesome- quick responses and made sure our experience was a great one.

Little cabin in the woods

Communication with the host was quick and responsive. The fire place was fantastic and the beds are super comfy. It’s close to everything, but secluded enough to really have a cabin in the woods feel. No frills, but we absolutely loved it for our mid week ski trip!!! Thank you.

The chalet was in an area that was very close to the White Mountain Gondala, and High Falls Gorge, and it was a short drive to Lake Placid. The problem was there was NO view. Please remove that word from the description. The Wilderness Inn was an abandoned delapadated building. The

Disappointing and way overpriced for what it is

Thought this was going to be a lovely cabin experience for me and my friends visiting from the uk but it was a disappointment. The Nearby KOA would have been better or any of the motels nearby. The photos of outdoor firepit area are very misleading. The firepit shown is for the next cabin and there were no chairs to use. Had to use the indoor fire. For the money would recommend spending it on anything else.

Excellents hôtes!

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Yann est très gentil et s'assure de notre confort. Le chalet est situé très près des pentes de ski et proche du village de Lake Placid. Les lits sont très confortables. Nous aurions aimé une petite cuisinette, mais nous nous sommes débrouillés sans. Nous y retournerons!

Kitchenette

The description using the word kitchenette was misleading. Other units we have rented from VRBO that listed that it had a kitchenette had a small kitchen area with a sink, small stove and small refrigerator—this allowed us to make a simple breakfast. This unit only has a small refrigerator, a microwave, coffee maker and toaster. There are no dishes or silverware only cups and one spoon. Other than that, the stay was delightful, cozy with great beds, plenty of towels and fireplace.

Perfect for an overnight!

My fiancé and I needed a place to stay while we were in town for our engagement photos. We were lucky enough to find these cabins available. It was cozy, and comfortable. Not far away from Lake Placid.

30th wedding anniversary get-a-way

Michelle had the cabin in tip top shape when we arrived. The cabin itself was very nice with a front porch, firepit and an outside grill. Inside the cabin it had a fireplace,a nice couch with coffee table, a couple of nice chairs, table with coffee maker, toaster nice size fridge. It sat in the woods and was keep cool even tho it didn't have AC. Plenty of pillows and blankets on the beds. Michelle was cleaning other cabins the next day and seen us sitting outside and came over and asked if we needed anything. I would tell anyone who asked about the cabin that they shou give them a try. I rented it in Jan for the July visit and the owners were quick to reply to any questions I had.
