From the owner: “We would like to clarify that the property is accurately represented in the listing, as previous guests’ reviews have stated. The road, property, and window A/C units are visible in the photos. The home is actually set back 55 feet from the road behind a lawn and a 6-car driveway. Bedroom windows are secured around A/C units with tape to prevent small insects from entering. Windows in other rooms can be opened, and the bedroom’s A/C and fans provide air circulation as needed. After the concern, the home was inspected, and no unusual or persistent chemical smell was found. We understand that the house may not have fit the guests’ preferences, but we stand behind the accuracy of our listing and pride ourselves on the level of cleanliness we provide, as also mentioned in previous guests’ reviews.”

We're glad the property lived up to expectations, and it's always fun hearing about the deer and turkey visitors enjoying the quiet, wooded setting along with our guests. We appreciate the feedback on the bathroom and laundry setup, both of which are accurately reflected in the listing, and we understand that a single shower or no in-unit laundry may not suit every group's needs. On the entertainment side, we've since added a TV to the main living room, so future guests will have more options for hanging out together when the weather doesn't cooperate.
