The house was very clean... it was stocked with everything we needed so we didn't even have to make a trip to the store first. The host got back to me when I had a question and was very nice to inform me about the newest upgrades to the back yard. Very pet friendly...everything we needed for the dog too. We loved the town and we will definitely stay at The Sandy Paws again.

Home away from Home!

This property is the best short term rental we have EVER stayed in! Not only was it clean, clean, clean, it was stocked with everything a person could ever need. We were there over Christmas, and the owners had even put up a decorated tree! I hope we can stay there again the next time we are in Colonial Beach!

We had a great week at this home for our wedding anniversary. It was the most thoughtfully furnished house I've stayed in. Very clean and comfortable for us and our two small old dogs. No negatives at all, we will stay here again.

We loved it, the house was immaculate and comfortable. This has been the best vacation I've had in a long time. Our human and fur family had a wonderful time staying here. Will book again if availability and timing arise in the future. Will recommend to others.

Loved this home and the host! I came with 4 boys and this home not only accommodated all of us, but also had something to entertain each one of them. Home sets at a great location near lots of activities and yummy food. If I ever find myself in colonial Beach again, I’ll definitely stay here.

Healing at its best

This was the most wonderful place I’ve ever stayed. From my brother passing away the day of my arrival to my granddaughter and family moving away to Florida the day we leave. There is not one thing absolutely one thing they can do to make it any better than they have made this stay for me. I look forward to coming here many more times.

Perfect for traveling with pets

Sandy Paws was the ideal rental for us. The owners have thought of everything, I mean EVERYTHING, you could need for your cat or dog! The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood within a short walk, bike ride (very safe!), or golf-cart trip to the beach, boardwalk, or breweries/bars/restaurants along the southern peninsula. The home itself was immaculate, with modern furnishings and a fenced-in backyard that was perfect for our small dog. The owners were very thoughtful in providing welcome snacks/beverages, toiletries, and anything else you might have forgotten.

Mid-week get-a-way!

Great home located on a quiet street. The house has everything you need to enjoy a trip to the river. Every time I thought I needed to run to the store and get something- the house had it. -The house can comfortably fit two couples and a few kids. -Although we did not bring our puppy, we certainly could have. This house has everything to make the trip comfortable for your pets.We highly recommend Sandy Paws as a river get-a-way, and we will be back ! Thank you!!
