About this property

Large beachside house in quiet bush surroundings

This house is in a quiet street in the Flinders Beach community, very close to 4WD beach access and about a 5 minute drive from the Amity Point township. Located in a lovely bush setting, this property is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. There are large covered decks at the front & rear of property with gas BBQ & outdoor setting for 8 people, making it perfect for outdoor entertaining. The fenced back yard is suitable for small dogs (outside only). The house sleeps a maximum of 10 guests, the first bedroom offering a Queen bed, the second with 2 X tri-bunks and one single bed and the third bed with a double bed and one set of single bunks.

The kitchen/dining/ living room is open plan with air conditioning and ceiling fans for guest comfort and the living area offers a TV, DVD and CD player. The neat and tidy kitchen has a dishwasher, oven, cooktop, microwave, Espresso coffee maker and large fridge. The bathroom has a bath with separate shower and a separate toilet and the laundry offers a top loader washing machine and dryer. Plenty of off street parking.

Fresh linen is supplied inclusive of Quilts, sheets, pillowcases, towels, bath mats, hand towels and tea towels. The beds inside the property will be made for you on arrival, all you need to bring are the beach towels!

The house was immaculate and well equipped with everything we needed and more. It truly exceeded our expectations. The location was tranquil and beautiful. Communication with the rental agency was excellent. We highly recommend staying at this property. Perfect for families and groups.

Finlia at Flinders

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: All had a great time, apart from a lot of lights not working. Overall house & linen very clean but windows and doors very dirty.

Our Stay at Finlia at Flinders

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Things got off to a poor start. We were told several times that we could not have access until 2pm, so we arrived at 2.05 to find that the cleaner had only just started. Apparently the owner's family did not leave on time. I find this absolutely insulting to paying guests such as ourselves. What incredible entitlement! The cleaner did a great job by the way but did not leave until around 5pm. TV is minimal on Straddie so we brought a bag of DVDs with us. The DVD player was broken. So much for that idea. During the second week the cooktop and oven stopped working. Straddie Sales got us an electrician the next day. He got the cooktop going but not the oven. We found a useful looking electric frying pan in the cupboard, but it was broken. Some lights in the kitchen were not working and the light in the toilet was decidedly wonky. The small window blind in the main bedroom is broken. All this shows that the owners are happy to take a substantial rent for Finlia, but are not prepared to maintain the property to the expected standard.Not our best stay on Straddie.
