About this property
Cozy and sparkling 2 Bedroom Suite
Spacious & stylishly furnished 2 bedroom basement suite with a separate entrance located in a very peaceful neighbourhood in Kitchener. Lots of amenities & best described as home away from home. It is a smoke-free & pet-free property accommodating 4 guests at a time. 3 mins walk to bus stop, 8 mins drive to Boardwalk, 9 mins drive to Sunrise Mall with shopping centers/ restaurants & cinema around and 12mins to University of Waterloo. This suite is for you if you love serene & a quiet space.
The space
This beautiful apartment is a large newly renovated basement apartment which featuring a fully furnished and equipped 1000 square foot, 2 bedroom plus huge living room. It is located in the prestigious forest heights neighborhood in Kitchener, within easy walking distance to public transit to travel around Kitchener. It has its own dishwasher, stove, microwave and fridge, and includes toaster, kettle, dishes, pots, bed linens and towels.
The space
This is a very bright and cheerful basement apartment, each bedroom has a full double bed. The living room has a 3 seater couch, but it is not intended to be used as a bed. There are also two single arm chairs in the living room.
There is a table in the living room which can either be used as a dedicated workspace or for dining. The living room has a large 65” Smart TV
Other things to note
Waterloo Region is a very interesting mix of urban (tech sector) and rural (Mennonite & Amish communities are just outside the city limits). St.
Jacob's is a lovely village in the middle of Mennonite country. The oldest covered bridge in Ontario is 15 minutes away (The Kissing Bridge in West Montrose). This juxtaposition of the tech sector against a rural community where electricity is still not used in many homes makes this community very interesting to visitors. The St. Jacob's Farmers Market and the Kitchener Downtown Market on Saturdays are wonderful places to buy local produce, both fresh and cured meats and delicious baked goods..
Guest access
Guests have access to a the entire apartment and a large spacious deck directly in front of the apartment.
