Doggy heaven. Large fenced yard , beautiful gardens, guest patio and firepit.
Super comfortable and cozy home away from home. Creative decor inside and out. This one bedroom apartment has a spacious open concept kitchen and living room that is extremely clean and well equipped. It has a large bathroom and lots of closet space. An electric fireplace for cozy nights in front of the TV. There is a queen size bed in the one bedroom and a sofa bed( double) in the living room plus a foam single mattress for an alternative and convenience. The apartment has everything you need and more and it is a short drive to anywhere you need to go in the city(UofW 10 min) yet is located in a small town setting.. The half acre property is perfect for your dog to run leash free and the host dog is always up for playtime. There is a guest patio with a fire pit and cozy furniture but you’re welcome to roam the property at your leisure . There is free parking for one vehicle in the back yard parking lot. There is laundry on the premises but not in the apartment therefore I offer a courtesy laundry service (within reason)
It’s a lovely neighbour hood to explore with the Grand river right across the road , ball diamonds and soccer fields , parks and trails and two of the cities favourite restaurants are all within walking distance . Plenty of local attractions only 15 or 20 minutes away.
I also offer the opportunity for you to take a private three hour canoe trip down the Grand river where you’ll be surrounded by nature . I will provide all the essentials and the transportation .( must sign waiver)

I’m from Elmira a smaller town close to Kitchener. After a relationship failed I took an apartment in Bridgeport. I was in that apt for seven years. It was really small but I loved it So much so I vowed to never leave bridgeport . It’s been 21 years since I bought this house and I still know to this day that it was one of the best decision I ever made. I renovated my basement into an apt and it eventually became a STR. Again it was another one of the best decisions I ever made.i get to meet folks from all over the world and share my beautiful space with them . A lot of people like to travel with their pets and I’m so happy I can make that possible for them.
Why they chose this property
Bridgeport has a lot of space compared to the rest of the city . It’s like living in a small town right across the bridge. I had a Labrador retriever when I moved here and having the river and trails was such a great place for us. I’ve had four dogs since and I couldn’t give them a better place to live their lives it truly is a doggy’s dream .
What makes this property unique
The size of the properties in Bridgeport is incredible . You’re hard pressed to find any city or even towns that have so many large properties that have not been severed and developed . My property is in a row with many of the same size all approximately 80’x300’. Mine is the only one in this row that is entirely fenced . And I have a magnificent willow tree in the centre of it . I have more gardens than a park as it is my favorite pastime. I have a huge fire pit and have had so many good times with friends and family and guests around the fire . The atmosphere here is relaxed and without the hustle bustle of the city.
