We had a great stay here. The cottage is very comfortable and the location is fantastic, just a short walk from the beach. We appreciated being able to use the beach chairs and beach toys. Donna was a very helpful and responsive host.

A very comfortable and welcoming space…exactly like what the pictures showed. Every little item one might need has already been thought of, and is there. Beautiful, wide open and empty beach so close to walk to. Very pet-friendly. We loved it!

The cottage was more than expected. Lots of space, comfortable, felt like home. Lakeside Beach is just a short walk. A quiet place to relax.

A comfortable cottage which was very clean on arrival. Very family friendly with lots of space outdoors to play. Great screened in porch. Comfortable beds, kitchen fully-stocked. Excellent communication. While not a ‘fancy’ updated accommodation, it is a great option, with a very short walk to the best beach on PEI in our humble opinion!

We enjoyed our stay. The location near Lakeside Beach was excellent, and the check-in and communication were smooth and easy. The cottage was clean, bright, comfortable, and worked well for our family.The best part is the beach access. It is a short, easy walk to a beautiful beach that was not crowded even on great beach days. The location is ideal for a quieter PEI beach vacation; it is farther from Charlottetown and Cavendish so if you are planning trips there factor that in.The cottage itself is basic rather than fancy, but functional, pleasant, and good for a relaxed family stay. The kitchen is fine for regular meals, though the equipment and utensils are fairly basic if your planning elaborate meals. Some linens, towels, and decor feel a bit tired and a few small updates would make the place feel more pulled together. Everything worked well, including hot water, and the fridge was clean.The screened porch was a real plus because mosquitoes were very heavy during our stay and limited use of the large yard. That may have been timing, as others on the island said the same, and there were no mosquitoes on the beach.We also appreciated the beach gear in the shed, including chairs, a wagon, and toys. We brought some of this ourselves and did not need to. Overall, this is a clean, practical, comfortable family beach cottage in a quiet location. It is not a luxury property, and a few areas feel tired, but it worked very well for a relaxed PEI family vacation.

Hi - thanks for feedback, I hear you on the mosquito situ. There is control program all of us cottages contribute to annually but the treatment doesn’t work that well. I will look into enviro safe treatment for my property next summer. Thanks!

We loved our stay! The cottage comes equipped with everything you need to relax and enjoy the beauty that is PEI. We noticed right away how clean the place was and that everything has its place so it’s very easy to find things and make yourself at home. The cottage is bright and gets a great breeze even on hot days. There are chairs, toys and a wagon which we found so helpful for the short walk to the beach. My kids especially loved going up to the top deck at night to watch the stars. Absolutely incredible week! We hope to return next summer!
