Great house, great location, great space. We had the best vacation and will cherish our memories for the years to come. This house provided everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time!
Spacious home with excellent location. Kids enjoyed swimming and kayaking. Caught crabs for dinner. Only complaint was we needed to get toilet paper paper towels and garbage bags

The house hasn't been maintained well. Most of the electrical outlets in the rooms didn't work or were loose. The septic backed up outside in the front yard and the toilets wouldn't flush after 2 days. There were damprid bads hanging everywhere and portable AC/ dehumidifiers in the bathrooms and front room. The backyard had trash everywhere (tiki torches laying in the garden bed with lighters, squirt guns in the yard, alcohol cans in the firepit, weeds growing so high) and hasn't been maintained. The windows to the back of the house were dirty and we could hardly see through them. It just looked like no one has taken care of it. The furniture and bedding was nice. It is a great location for access to the springs and river. The dock is nice.

"Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the great location, dock, and the comfortable furniture and bedding. After sharing your feedback with the homeowner, they wanted to share the following:• I’m having the outlets inspected and secured so they’re working properly and feel safe to use.• I addressed the flushing concerns and have installed two new toilets to help prevent future issues.• Because Florida experiences consistently high humidity, I use Damp Rid and dehumidifiers throughout the home to manage moisture, help prevent musty odors, and keep the space comfortable for guests.• I’m resetting outdoor upkeep and scheduling a full tidy of the yard and a cleaning of the back windows so the exterior matches the home’s interior. If any of these concerns had come up during the stay, I would have been happy to address them right away, and I always encourage guests to reach out in the moment so I can help as quickly as possible."

Great location
The house was great- in a great location. Check in was easy. House was clean. River access was great and could pull our boat in. The house was close to everything and room to park a trailer. There was a stocked kitchen which was great. The AC leaked the last night and we didn’t have air coming back from a wedding and had to shut it off when we came back to water on the floor. They did waive the cleaning fee…Just a FYI for future renters. The property manager won’t respond to VRBO messages you have to contact the cell or email provider. The photos don’t show the large garage on the front. The house was clean and large and great for the family. We did not know that the washer didn’t work, the house was recently flooded and there were multiple dehumidifiers in the house that beeped multiple times a day until you emptied the bucket of water. The fans had to stay on and there was spots of mold in the master bedroom.

We're glad you liked the home overall and enjoyed the location, though we're sorry some aspects fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they'd like to clarify the following:– We wish you had reached out during your stay, as we didn’t receive any reports related to the A/C. We would’ve been glad to look into this in real time. The A/C is connected to an app confirming it functioned properly during the visit.– Florida’s climate is naturally very humid, and the home’s waterfront location adds to that moisture level. Dehumidifiers are as common as ceiling fans in this area. We requested photos and details to better understand your concern, but none were provided. Upon inspection, no issues were found.– Our listing doesn't advertise a washer or dryer. While a unit is present in the home, it doesn't work, so we don't offer it. We also don't advertise the garage, which is why it has been thoughtfully excluded from the listing photos.– We include our Guest Contact's information in the pre-stay details so guests know who to reach out to for assistance. The homeowner remains committed to providing great guest experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied visitors.
