At Lakemac water sports offers kayaking, BBQ & fishing boat hire & giant aqua mats for the kids. Murray’s Cafe is an outdoor dog-friendly cafe surrounded by the bushland on the edge of Lake Macquarie. The jetty over the lake is great for fishing, the paths along the waterfront are ideal for a casual stroll or a place to bring the kids on their bikes & scooters. Bring a picnic blanket, order from the takeaway menu & sit on the waterfront to take-in the array of sparkling sunsets. We stayed here for our year end holidays and celebrated New Year's eve. The house is nice and cosy. It was just perfect for our family gathering. We really enjoyed ourselves in the house. Thank you Anna.
