The property is beautiful and luxurious with lots of little touches that made it exceptionally comfortable. Unfortunately it was poorly managed. We were directed to the wrong area and couldn't locate the lockbox. The POC was unavailable (she was traveling) so we had no key for five hours. Luckily for us the back door was unlocked! This should not have happened and should be looked into. The hot tub had no power so we couldn't use it during our stay. That is a main feature of the house so that was very disappointing. Then we noticed a few other maintenance problems. The top shelf of the dishwasher was off track. The ice maker didn't work. The laundry cupboard sliding door is off track. All small glitches but they need to be handled. We didn't let these problems affect our trip, but we do believe we should be partially reimbursed for the dead hot tub. Note the POC did suggest a couple of quick fixes, making sure the wall switch was turned on, repeatedly hitting the mode button, but nothing worked. We checked the hot tub manual on line and it suggested the tub had turned itself off due to plugged filter or pump.
