About this property

Loon Landing Cottage - Snowmobile Trails & Toboggan Hill

Loon Landing Cottage was built to make lasting memories with our son, in the same area where we grew up enjoying Weslemkoon Lake. This cozy yet modern tiny home has 2 bedrooms, 4 beds, 1 bath, a full kitchen, laundry, fully stocked, lake access, a private dock, fire pit, and patio. Whether you’re snowmobiling, sledding down the front hill, or relaxing under the stars by the fire, it’s the perfect place to relax, explore, and enjoy.

Enjoy a full-season getaway at Loon Landing Cottage! Your stay includes a private dock and access to the boat launch at Weslemkoon Marina—just a 2-minute drive or 20-minute walk away. The lake is less than a 5-minute walk, featuring views of a small waterfall along the way.

Boating & Rentals: Pontoon boats, fishing boats, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, and e-bikes are available for rent nearby, with convenient delivery and pickup at the cottage (we are not affiliated with the rentals but can provide contact info).

Swimming & Beaches: The best swimming is within the main section of Weslemkoon Lake, known for sandbars, rocky shoals, cliff jumps, and secluded islands. A public sand beach at Gunter Lake—13 minutes away—offers parking, a boat launch, and bathrooms.

Loon Landing Cottage offers modern comfort and thoughtful amenities for a relaxing stay year-round.

This new property was very clean and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. Ideally it would have direct water access, but the lake and marina are close by. We would definitely return and bring our kayaks next time to enjoy the lake.

Host profile image
I grew up camping with family and friends at Weslemkoon Lake and now share the experience with my family. We built this home in hopes of continuing the tradition with our son and are excited to share the experience so that you can make amazing memories like I did at Weslemkoon Lake.

Weslemkoon Lake has some of the best fishing and swimming. The area is plentiful with trails for ATVing, dirt biking, and snowmobiling. Come explore.

What makes this property unique

Direct access to Weslemkoon Lake including a private dock and launch (needs to be requested upon booking. Advise the size of boat or watercraft you’ll be bringing). Extensive ATV trails in the area with access to private lakes
