This cozy, newly sound-proofed in-law suite overlooks a quiet cove in scenic Twillingate. Once part of a historic merchant’s home, it’s now a private guest space attached to our residence. Coastal trails lead to dramatic cliffs and sweeping ocean views. Enjoy your own south-facing patio, surrounded by rose bushes that bloom through spring and summer, offering all-day sun and a peaceful place to unwind.
The space
Step into a cozy living area with a well-equipped kitchenette, kept comfortable year-round with a heat pump for both heating and AC. The bedroom sits just off the main space, with a full bathroom accessible through the bedroom. The kitchenette includes a toaster oven, toaster, and two-burner plug-in cooktop for light cooking. A spacious private deck offers an inviting spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
Guest access
Little Cove shares our driveway, with guest parking available on the far right side. Beyond the driveway, all spaces are completely private for your stay.
Other things to note
The kitchenette is quite small and not suited to cooking full meals. We've tried to make it as useful as possible in a tight space.
The unit was sound proofed in November 2025, to minimize noise from the main residence.

We enjoyed everything about the little cove accommodations. Very clean, cozy, quaint, nice full size washroom and the bed was very comfortable. Beautiful scenery, nice eateries and gift shops too

It did the trick! Comfortable, clean and quiet. Host was easy and great to deal with.
We found everything we needed for our stay. We wish it was closer to town but it worked out for us. The little cottage was very clean, bright and there was always a breeze which was nice with the hot weather that we had.
The unit was clean and provided everything we needed to enjoy a couple of days to visit the local attractions. It was as advertised with no surprises!!!The deck was a great place to enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the water.
Was perfect for what we needed. Everything anyone would need and the bread and jam was a lovely touch. Tamara kept us up to date with quick responses. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful property looking over a bay in a tiny fishing village. Located just out of town and in a very quiet area. The home was very clean and equipped with everything that we required. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Twillingate.
Little Cove was charming and very clean. The bathroom is large and feels brand new with a lovely deep tub, and 2 sinks Great view of the water. Our hosts left us a fresh loaf of homemade bread and jam plus a new jar of peanut butter as a welcoming gift! We enjoyed touring the lighthouse, walking some trails. We were a little late in the season as some places were closed or limited hours.
What a cozy little spot in a beautiful setting. Matt and Tamara, are the new owners of this VRBO. They are very responsive and were very excited to make our stay as memorable as possible. It was easy to find, and minutes to the main section of the town of Twillingate. Can't go wrong renting this place!

Perfect space for 2 people if you don't need a full kitchen. Tamara was quick to respond to messages and questions. Place was clean, just as pictured and close to everything in the Twillingate area.

Thanks so much Brenda, we were more than happy to help and host your stay here in Twillingate! 😊
We enjoyed our stay on Twillingate Got to see icebergs up close. The kitchen was tiny but bedroom and bathroom were huge. We tried to sit out on the patio for a bit but the weather was not helping us out.
We loved cozy Little Cove with its considerate touches. Unfortunately, 4 loud people staying on the other side of the uninsulated wall felt like an invasion of privacy and made our stay uncomfortable. That and the very sensitive smoke detector (can’t make toast with the lovely bread offered without setting it off) affects our rating. You’ll love it if you are in Little Cove with no one staying next door or if you are the group booking the larger space. Truly a shame because we loved Little Cove.

Hey Chris, thanks for your feedback. Now that the tourist season is over, we have been able to start renovating. You'll be happy to hear that we are addressing the noise issue. Every wall separating Little Cove with the unit next door is being insulated and aggressively sound proofed. We're adding air conditioning as well which should address the two most prevalent complaints about Little Cove that we received this year.
As for the toaster, we did clean out the crumbs with every new guest, but we are aware of the smoking issue and will be putting a new toaster there as well. The toaster wasn't very wide, so if the bread wasn't sliced very thin it tended to smoke.
If you ever some back to Twillingate we hope you'll give us another try as we'll continue to improve Little Cove as best we can :)
